Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip Hooray! Big Cheers are in order for our Great Taste of Grapevine Committee, and the biggest Cheer goes to our Chair, Emily McRoberts with Homestead Winery, who stepped up for the second year in a row! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU, Emily! We had an awesome event with great attendance! If you attended, we appreciate you, and please let us know if there is anything you especially liked or any feedback you might have for changes. We want to make this event bigger and better every year, so we definitely want to hear the YAYS and the NAYS! You won’t hurt our feelings… It is all for the kids and senior citizens in our community! These monies, along with our holiday event fundraising, go toward the school supplies that we buy in August to help support the CONNECT program. Women’s Division has been leading this charge to help under-privileged GCISD students show up with school supplies on the first day of school since the 1980s! The need has gotten so great, that we are proud to help support CONNECT in these efforts today! The money we raise also goes to our efforts to bring senior citizens some Christmas cheer, by interviewing them to find out what they need and delivering those needs in wrapped Christmas gifts! If you would like to learn more about Women’s Division, and why we do what we do, I invite you to read our new brochure designed for us by Kathy DiMaggio! You can find it on our website at www.grapevinechamber-womensdiv.com. Thanks to all who signed up to staff the Beverage Booths at Main Street Days. This is another fundraiser for us, and we look forward to seeing you out there! We will have our Women’s Division T-shirts on, ready to serve!

A Little Bit O’ History
