To use visionary stewardship of the Grapevine Chamber’s assets, both financial and intellectual, to strengthen the economic prosperity of all stakeholders.

Main Street Days & GrapeFest

The Grapevine Chamber of Commerce is a 501(c)6 non-profit corporation which was chartered in 1952. The Chamber’s operational budget comes from the business member’s yearly investment as well as projects and special events.

Annually each October In a fun and relaxed atmosphere, this event offers networking opportunities with members or clients.

The Chamber hosts a Concession Trailer and Beer Booth each year at these major City of Grapevine events, providing a means of networking and advertising for members and raising funds for the organization.

Financial Review Committee

A committee aimed at maintaining the fiscal responsibility and analyzing the financial practices of the organization.

Technology & Marketing

The Chamber tasks itself with upholding the highest standards in technology, marketing and design in its printed and online communications.

To have strong and progressive leadership for the Grapevine Chamber, and for the organization to be a model and recognized leader of the business community. To build strong partnerships through relevant, essential programs and opportunities.

Annually August - May An innovative leadership development program, by the Chamber and City of Grapevine, for citizens and community leaders to learn about municipal government, economic development, cultural opportunities, as well as health and safety. Leadership Alumni Quarterly meetings as needed For Leadership graduates, this program allows for assisting in planning and directing Leadership Grapevine.

Board of Directors Meetings

The Chamber’s Board of Directors meets on a monthly basis.

Maintaining current and relevant by laws and policies for the organization.

The mission, budget and program of work is designed by the volunteer Board of Directors made up of elected and appointed members. The board hires a CEO to maintain the day to day operations of the organization and staff, which is housed at the Chamber office. In 2013, the Grapevine Chamber Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, was established to assist with worthwhile charitable activities.

Community Awards Banquet

Annually each January This event recognizes and honors those who have provided great leadership and support for the Chamber, as well as the City of Grapevine.

Executive Book Review

Every other month, 2nd Wed., 8:30 a.m. A book briefing in conjunction with the City of Grapevine, allowing Chamber members to receive a synopsis of a book on leadership, business or other current topics.

Legislative Council

www.GrapevineLegislativeCouncil.org The Chamber will review any policy or legislation considered by local, state or national governments impacting our business community and find ways to secure a positive business environment.

Business After Hours Mixers

Twice Monthly, 5:30-7:30 p.m. @ Various locations Networking events for members to use for building business contacts.

Every other month, 11:30 a.m. @ Various Locations AMP’T (Advancing Modern Professionals for Tomorrow) is a meeting of young professionals between the ages of 20-39, with business leaders who share their experiences, expectations and insight for success. 3rd Wed., 5:30 p.m. @ Various Locations Chamber members promoting their business by being a part of ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings and volunteering. Membership Development Communicating with Chamber member businesses to strengthen the Chamber, while developing a stronger personal network. New Member Breakfast Every other month, 1st Wed., 8:15 a.m. New Chamber member businesses receive an overview of the mission and goals of the organization.

For mutual benefit, the Chamber meets with other area or regional Chambers to learn and share best practices.

Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) A partnership with GCISD connecting students starting their own business with local business leaders to guide them. Senior Services Alliance

2nd Wed., 9 a.m. @ Chamber A consortium of Chamber member businesses that provide products / services for senior adults.

2nd Thurs., 11:30 a.m. @ Grapevine Convention Center (Corner of Vine St. & Municipal Way) Designed to provide educational, motivational and updates to Chamber members.

Christmas Season Activities

The Chamber hosts the Annual Parade of Lights and other events with GCISD, supporting the City of Grapevine’s Christmas Capital of Texas ® campaign.
