Gosford Times 12th December 1918 THE SUPREME SACRIFICE Died in Palestine Mr J.S. Taylor, of Point Clare, has received word that his only son, Driver J.P. Taylor, of the 98 th Company of the Australian Mounted Division, A.A.S. Corps, died on active service in Palestine on 21 st November. Deceased soldier was 41 years of age, and was a member of the Queensland Police Force when he enlisted. He sailed to the war last Christmas. â&#x20AC;Ś.
