Este festival se lleva a cabo en las principales ciudades del país, reúne lo mejor del cine francés para brindar a los cinéfilos la posibilidad de ver títulos que normalmente no llegan a las salas de cine. La versión de este año llega con más de cuarenta películas con propuestas para todas las edades en cortos, largometrajes y documentales.
Los mejores anticuarios se reúnen nuevamente para ofrecerle a los capitalinos, un gran portafolio de objetos que datan de 200 años atrás, aproximadamente. Elementos de distinta naturaleza como fotos, ropa, cristalería, muebles, relojes, teléfonos y radios, son la esencia de la feria. Una oportunidad única para adquirir hermosos productos y recuerdos que evocan las épocas: Colonial, Isabelina, Victoriana, la de Luis XV y Luis XVI, además de los importantes movimientos artísticos como el Art Nouveau y Art Deco, y por supuesto, algo de los años cincuenta y sesenta.

Jazz comes to the city for the Sixteenth time with Jazz al Parque 2011 where groups from the national and international scene entertain with their seductive rhythms for the delight of Jazz lovers. This year continues the encouragement given to professional female vocalists and musicians in order to promote their presence on the country’s stages as well as abroad. Besides the musical component, various academic events are organized, such as the creative laboratory that revolves around the creation of a Big Band and Jam sessions, where participation is encouraged in events held in Colombia and abroad based on presentations made by local and national groups.
This festival is held in major cities, importing the best French cinema to provide film buffs in the capital the chance to see movies that do not normally reach our commercial cinema but that nevertheless shine for their great quality. This year there are more than 40 films with a selection for all ages in short films, feature films and documentaries.
The best antique dealers get together again to offer the capital’s inhabitants an extensive choice of antiques dating back around 200 years in many different forms with photos, clothing, glassware, furniture, clocks, telephones and radios, being the mainstays of the fair. It is a unique opportunity to purchase beautiful products and mementos evocative of eras like the colonial, Elizabethan, Victorian, Louis XV and Louis XVI, in addition to major art movements like Art Nouveau and Art Deco, and of course, objects from the 1950’s and 60’s.

Nuevamente El Jazz se toma la ciudad con la realización de la decimosexta versión de Jazz al Parque 2011, en la cual agrupaciones de la escena nacional e internacional deleitan con sus ritmos seductores. Este año el festival hace énfasis en los instrumentos no convencionales, y continúa incentivando a las mujeres profesionales, vocalistas o instrumentistas, para promover su presencia en los diferentes escenarios del país y el exterior. Además del componente musical, se diversas actividades de tipo 102 organizan académico, como el laboratorio de creación que gira alrededor de la conformación de una Big Band y Jam Sessions, donde a partir de la presentación de las propuestas musicales de agrupaciones locales y nacionales se propicia la participación en eventos que se realicen en Colombia y en el exterior.
