Sweat, butterflies, anxiety, and sweaty palms If you are a DJ then you know exactly what DJ Jose Rodriguez is making a reference to. Salsa, Salsa and more Salsa, is what people know him for today. Being a music lover has helped Jose continue to broaden his DJ experience by participating in more events worldwide that include music from all cultures not just his own. Jose's love of music as well as its origin and history has motivated him to compile an extensive collection of music which dates back to the early 1940's. Jose does not attribute his success to the many venues he has played, or to how much music he has, but instead to the people that enjoy coming out to support him at all his events. Jose is constantly trying to learn more and more about all types and genres of music and is eager to impart what he has learned to anyone who is willing to listen. Jose is a firm advocate for Dance groups that not only wish to dance but want to learn about the rich history of the music that they dance to. He is always supportive and available to all groups that may need his help with music, advice, etc. Jose has been featured at major events such as the Miami Mambo Project 2006-2007, NYC Salsa Congress 2003-2012, 2005-2010 All-Star Salsa Cruise, Hotlanta Salsa Congress 2010-11 Washington DC Parties thrown by Stuck on Salsa, and St. Marten's Salsa Escape hosted by Henry Knowles. Jose is also called upon by major Spanish Affiliates around the city and tri-state area for events such as Concilio's annual Puerto Rican Day Parade Gala.

Corwin (Corwin Paul Jackson), born in New Orleans, LA, raised in Salt Lake City, UT, started his disk jockey career "by accident" in 2003, and since then, has d.j.-ed in every Latin club in the Salt Lake City, and Provo, UT areas. Since 2005, he has d.j.-ed at various Salsa Congresses, Festivals, Socials, and Night Clubs throughout the United States. D.J. Corwin's love for Salsa music started in the summer of 1995, where he saw "El Rey Del Timbal" - Tito Puente live in concert and since then, has seen many of the top artist in the industry live in concert like Johnny Pacheco, Celia Cruz, Ray Barretto, Eddie Palmieri, Roberto Roena, El Gran Combo De Puerto Rico, and the New Swing Sextet, just to name a few. DJ Neo has established himself as a prominent force in the DC salsa scene. A latin dj turned salsa dj, It wasn’t until his first live salsa concert when he really started to have a strong appreciation for salsa music.
It was then he deiced to switch gears and focus his time and energy on becoming one of the top salsa Dj’s in the DMV. Dj Neo has won recognition by wining the 2007 Clarendon Grill battle of the Dj’s competition, voted best salsa Dj by stuckonsalsa.com, and is a regular dj at some the DMV’s hottest dance spots. He has also played at the DC Salsa Congress, DC Bachata Congress, New York Salsa Congress, The All Star Salsa Cruise, and The SOS Resolution Jam.
DJ Hercules BIO (SALSA)
A “NuYoRican” native living in the DMV, DJ "Hercules" (William Sanchez, Jr.) "The Strongest Man In SALSA” has been filling floors of venues for more than 15 years. Hercules looks to present music outside of the box, bridging the classic past of all types of genres with a forward sense toward the profound sound of today and beyond.
Hercules was influenced by may genres growing up in the New York City area, including Salsa, Mambo, Cha Cha Bachata, Merengue and Latin House. His specific passion for salsa music comes from growing up in a Puerto Rican home where his dad was consistently playing mostly salsa, along with some merengue and boleros.
Hercules is the resident DJ at The Salsa Room located in Arlington, VA, playing in concerts driven by salsa artists such as El Gran Combo, Sonora Poncena, Oscar D’Leon, and Gilberto Santa Rosa, to name a few. He is also the CEO of Torrchez Entertainment, LLC, alongside his newly wedded wife, Emilly (DJ “La Taina”), providing music services for all types of functions. Hercules states, “I love all types of music…and if I hear a sound that moves me, I go with it. I enjoy seeing a dancer’s reaction, driven by the feeling of a song that moves them physically and emotionally. ASI!! (Like That!)”

DJ Renzo - Washington, DC
DJ Renzo has shared his passion for salsa music throughout the contiguous United States, Asia and Europe. With a distinct advantage of having been a dancer first and DJ second he prides himself on being a "dancer's DJ." Renzo taps into this knowledge of appropriate songs to create the ideal dancing environment for whatever crowd is in front of him. Renzo also takes immense pride in being known as a DJ who can play for any crowd.
