I was born and raised in Venice (Italy), in 2015 I achieved a Masters Degree in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano and since 2017 I have lived and worked in Barcelona (Spain).
Beginning of the project I've always been attracted to everything concerning art and the process of making it. Art has been a part of my life since I was young. I made my first oil painting at 13 years of age after being inspired by an Impressionist exhibition. Since then, I've painted for pleasure but always with the desire to turn my passion into something more. Finally, at the beginning of this year, I had the opportunity to dedicate myself to my art practice and GiPiStudio was born. I wanted to create a studio; a project where I can see all of the changes and evolution of my artwork, as well as, the reactions and feedback from people engaging with it.
objective My dream is to grow the studio with each passing day. I aspire to connect with more of the art world at large so I can continue to be inspired and learn from it. As a self-taught painter I am particularly interested in connecting with other dedicated artists. One day I'd like a studio space to experiment with materials and large canvases, host exhibitions and invite friends to enjoy my works and the GiPiStudio culture.
is known for its vivid use of colour and dynamic representation of light and space in its abstract paintings. Using a multitude of layered brushwork and varied but deliberate paint application its works portray a space between pure abstraction and imagined landscape. The paintings invite the viewer to be drawn into the jewel-like prismic details of its paintings and their subtle references to lush oases, electric sunsets or our most psychedelic and imaginative dreams.
