History of the Garfield Heights Chamber of Commerce The Garfield Heights Chamber of Commerce (GHCC) was originally established in the 1950’s. It later disbanded due to the lack of interest. In 1994 the city officials and local business people formed a committee to determine if there was enough interest to revive the chamber. The interest was there and in 1995 the new chamber began operations. Since then the chamber has grown membership and the city has grown its business footprint. We now have several businesses that are world headquartered in Garfield Hts., such as Overdrive and Ferrotherm, in addition many smaller businesses and mom & pops. We are proud to have all of them as chamber members. Garfield Heights continues to grow and attract new businesses and we look forward to a 2016 filled with growth and community involvement.
