Codie Sanchez Baker (CIM ’14) Vice President - Institutional Sales Director, State Street Global Advisors I enrolled in the Corporate International Master’s (CIM) program because my business is globalizing, and I was intrigued by the growth opportunity in Latin America. The CIM program is not a classmate-vs.-classmate environment. As executives, we have enough competition in our day jobs. These professionals understand the truth of being stronger together. But the faculty absolutely make this program. They are awe-inspiringly brilliant, incredible orators, skilled professionals, thoughtful instructors, and incredibly engaged. I can quantify immediate returns on my education investment. In one class, we did a case study analysis of a large multinational corporation in Mexico. I became intimately familiar with the company structure, global footprint, historical obstacles, and leadership strategy. The following week I was at a conference in Santiago and met the firm’s CFO. I was able to offer a few insights the class provided me, and now my company has an open opportunity to submit an investment proposal that could equate to millions in revenue. If you are considering this program, I would say jump in head first. It’s a chance to be at a premier institution that sits in the crux of global policy in tandem with a renowned school in Europe with long-standing connections and a top school in Brazil, which is an economy many are eager to penetrate.
