Instruction will cover internal and external computer parts and troubleshooting the initial startup process. In addition you will be taught basic concepts related to Windows 7 and Windows 8 to include viewing contents of disks, drives, and folders, as well as creating, and saving files in various applications. Alot of new computer owners fail to learn how to use and maintain their new computer and open themselves up to the hidden costs of not maintaining your computer. To help save yourself money and unneedless trips to the computer shop for repairs, this course will introduce you to a series of very simple steps you can take to keep your new computer running fast and efficient. In addition, things get installed on your system all the time, from applications, to games, to web plug-ins. There may even be viruses or "spyware" installed on your system that you don't even know about yet. This course will show you how to use the proper tools to clean up unused programs, get rid of unwanted files, and protect yourself and your computer from the bad side of the Internet.
