“It’s not what you know, but who you know.”―and in this Age of Information, this has become a particularly accurate adage. With the World Wide Web in full effect and the internet quickly taking its position as the top means to send as well as receive information, your main obstacle is no longer acquiring or getting data, but who you want to share this data with. I suppose I could even take the adage further by saying, “It’s not only who you know, but who knows you.” So if you want to be successful, doing it yourself no longer poses that big of a challenge when all you need is some tech know-how and a lot of “friends.” And quite paradoxically, you need not have to “put yourself out there”—your cyber-persona can do all of that for you.
