Dear FSOP Alumni, When I visit retailers, I often amuse myself by making mental notes of what I would like for them to know about their establishment and the service. Sometimes it is little things. For example, the checker and bagger should not air their work-related issues where the customer can hear. The incident that prompted me to address this occurred in a Buc-ee’s. I am a fan! I approached them sometime back about the lack of freshness dating on their products. The response from the clerk was that the ‘rapid turnover did not allow anything to stay around long.’ Last week, I purchased a jar of Cherry Butter. In great anticipation of a wonderful addition to my hot biscuit, I opened it to discover mold growing inside the lid and on top of the product. I decided to give feedback, but a recorded phone message said to provide comments and questions via e-mail.
