Foundation Highlights SE P T E M B E R 2 0 1 0 (Right, bottom photo) The Foundation honored its donors and scholarship recipients at a Donor Appreciation and Scholarship Recipient luncheon. O C TO B E R 2 0 1 0 (Right, top photo) Thirty-six teams participated in the 16th annual Neal Lancaster-Four Oaks Bank Charity Classic Oct. 8 at the Country Club of Johnston County. The event raised nearly $60,000 for the College. DE C E M B E R 2 0 1 0 (Left) The Frank Creech Art Gallery debuted in the Arts Building. The gallery is a collaborative project between the College Foundation, the Johnston County Arts Council, and the College’s art faculty. A P R I L 2 0 1 1 (Right, third photo) The College Foundation awarded $6,000 in Innovation Grants to four projects initiated by faculty and staff supporting the establishment of a recording and production studio; a global villages project; a computer skills tutoring project, and a sustainable living and gardening program. M AY 2 0 1 1 (Right, second photo) The Foundation held its annual fundraiser that supports student scholarships, emergency book funds, and academic support services May 12 at the home of Leo and Helen Daughtry. The event raised the most ever —some $23,000 — for scholarship, educational, and outreach opportunities.
