es una serie de arte conceptual en diferentes partes del mundo en las que el personaje “Leylox” centra la mirada (pública) en materiales textiles de uso doméstico desechados. El proyecto, documentado fotográficamente, comenzó en 2006 y cuenta con 222 piezas hasta la fecha.

is a series of conceptual art in which the character “Leylox” brings discarded home textiles into (public) focus all around the globe. The project is presented photographically, began in 2006 and consists of 222 pieces to date.

Leyla Rodriguez nació en Buenos Aires, Argentina, y vivió en Frankfurt, Madrid, Berlín y Leipzig. En el año 2004 terminó sus estudios en la Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas de Hamburgo (HAW), Alemania, donde actualmente vive y coordina el programa de la Galerie Genscher. Su trabajo fue presentado en numerosos museos, galerías de arte y festivales de cine de diferentes partes del mundo. Algunos de los más recientes son:

Leyla Rodriguez was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and subsequently lived in Frankfurt, Madrid, Berlin and Leipzig. She graduated from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW) in 2004. Currently she lives and works in Hamburg, Germany, where she coordinates the Galerie Genscher program.

Leyla Rodriguez wurde in Buenos Aires, Argentinien, geboren und lebte ausserdem in Frankfurt, Madrid, Berlin und Leipzig. 2004 schloss sie ihr Studium an der Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften (HAW) in Hamburg ab. Zur Zeit lebt und arbeitet sie in Hamburg, Deutschland, wo sie für das Programm der Galerie Genscher mitverantwortlich ist.

Her work has been exhibited in numerous museums, art galleries and shown at film fes- Ihre Arbeiten wurden bereits in vielen tivals worldwide.
