Head Over Heels For ShoeS

Kimberly Moss loves meeting other shoe lovers. And with Head Over Heels — the shoe party business she launched in September 2011 — she helps women find shoes that are fun, funky and affordable. Head Over Heels offers a range of styles in brands not usually available in stores. “We try to appeal to almost everybody,” says Kimberly. Featuring brands such as Cupid, Bamboo, Anne Michelle and T.U.K., the business

throws up to five parties each week, hosted in the homes of women throughout Saskatchewan. Every pair of shoes is priced under $80, with 20 to 60 styles available, including boots in the winter, sandals in the summer, and flats and heels year-round. Sizes range from five to 11. Interested in hosting a Head Over Heels event? The gatherings typically draw 10 to 14 women, with the host

receiving a percentage of the sales and discounts if at least 10 women attend. Head Over Heels promotes a relaxed pressure-free environment, with women encouraged to try the various styles on. Kimberly says the parties are a convenient option for women with children, who may find shopping at the mall with their kids a challenging task. “You can walk around a room, look at the styles and try them on without needing a sales person,” says Kimberly. Sizes are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and women can take home their purchase that evening. “People say it’s fun and easy, and very affordable.” You can check out Head Over Heels at Saskatoon’s Women’s World trade show in October, and at S3 in November.
