Tudor Oaks Redevelopment Continues ndependent Living – Tudor Oaks is creating 18 new apartment homes

in the independent living Dogwood Wing. These completely remodeled homes are in great demand and have already been reserved by active seniors who want to be part of the community. They are looking forward to a swim in the pool, coffee and a snack in the Butternut Bistro, a movie in the Olive Wood Theatre, grilling on the new Party Patio or a stroll around the many newly landscaped areas of the campus.

Assisted Living – In this phase of redevelopment we are building additional

apartments in the Windsor House assisted living wing of the Community. These new apartment homes will be larger one bedroom and two Blueprint of bedroom apartments to meet the needs of existing and future Frances Henry residents, and will be available later this year.

Frances Henry Health Care Center – In addition to the new

Independent and assisted living construction we are also adding a new building to the Health Care Center. This newly designed area features a new floor plan and a special section dedicated to residents who only require short term rehabilitation. The Rehab Center will offer residents private rooms with showers, TV’s, telephone and WiFi all designed to enhance your rehab stay. With these new additions to the campus Tudor Oaks continues to define itself in the market as “the community of choice” for many seniors.

Tudor Oaks Resident Reviews EVERYTHING IS UNDER ONE ROOF I came to see the Art Gallery exhibit, saw the swimming pool and was impressed by the fact that all levels of care and activities are under one roof. – Dolores Coleman

QUALITY OF ENTERTAINMENT ABOUNDS Men’s coral group, sheepshead card game, bible study, Catholic Mass and we appreciate dining with different residents each day. I swim almost every morning … the pool is by far my favorite amenity. I don’t think we had any idea of the quality of entertainment we would see when moving here. It has been exceptional. – Alfred Woyak

LOVE THE STAFF Lisa (Fitness/Wellness Director) is a fantastic instructor and her exercises are exactly what seminar speakers have told us we need. The pool is a tremendous asset. All employees are respectful, friendly and very efficient. – Patricia Bardonner

MAKING FRIENDS WAS EASY I enjoy my neighbors here in Birch wing. I am pleasantly surprised at how quickly we came together not only as neighbors but as friends. Before I came here my idea of a retirement community, like so many who are afraid to move into one, was that I would be up rooted from familiar things particularly old friends and neighbors. I asked myself a number of times if relocating to Tudor Oaks was the right thing to do. Would I be able to make new friends like the ones I would be leaving. Well, that old wives tale went out the window the first week I was here. – Margaret Pearson

OUTSTANDING The physical plant is beautiful and well maintained, plus the residents and staff are outstanding. I enjoy my independent lifestyle. – Robert Zeit

LOVE THE SPACE The determining factor in selecting Tudor Oaks was the 110 acres of space plus a swimming pool, greenhouse and well designed apartment. Living in a community is more enjoyable than I expected. – LuAnne Thompson

PEACEFUL AND BEAUTIFUL I love the quality of the apartments and facilities plus the peaceful environment and beautiful landscaping. – Guy Osborn

www.TudorOaks.net Resident Reviews SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND CONTINUING CARE Why is Tudor Oaks different from every other retirement community, besides having 110 acres to enjoy? For one, it is continuing care all under one roof. This means the campus goes from independent living to full time nursing care. Second, you are no longer alone and continual help is a pull cord away providing a safety net, if you will. Third, social activities, fitness classes, restaurant style dining, church services, golf cart tours, green house, book club and maintenance help, to name just a few. Take a tour and you will be overwhelmed by everything. – Louise Osborn

MOTIVATIONAL AND RELAXING The exercise classes motivate me to “keep moving” which is great. The whirlpool is very relaxing and enjoyable. The food is excellent! – Karen Olson

EVERY DAY IS EXCITING Tudor Oaks is a cheerful and happy place with many offerings for good health. The food is great! I could not be happier. Each day has been an exciting day since I moved here! – Doris Danneberg

WELCOMING EVERY STEP OF THE WAY A determining factor for selecting Tudor Oaks was the location. The open 110 acre campus offers the beauty of nature, fresh air, a peaceful and serene atmosphere. I invite folks to visit Tudor Oaks NOW while they are physically able to enjoy the environment of our community. In due time we have the available health care facilities right here on our campus. Our Welcome to Tudor Oaks campus amidst construction was beyond description. We parked our car and walked toward the building unsure of where to go. A maintenance employee heading home, greeted us and said, “Come with me”. He unlocked the door and said, “your keys are on your kitchen table”. We walked in and Smart Moves had placed everything where it belonged. We were home. The Wellness Programs have “kept me in shape” and activities have added zest to my life. I am happy to have the opportunity to be a resident while health enables me to enjoy the activity and social life of Tudor Oaks.

– Dan Schowalter

FRIENDLINESS & CARING The friendliness of both staff and residents, as well as the variety of activities has exceeded our hopes. Tudor Oaks is a fun and friendly place to live. It is a caring, yet not interfering “family”. We are blessed to be a part of an outstanding new home-life. – John Gruber

COMPLETE CARE, AND A MAN CAVE TOO My wife is in the best health center – I went to 7 other locations before selecting Tudor Oaks. I enjoy life in my independent apartment and can swim at 7:00am every morning followed by the 8:30 exercise program. I like the Man Cave too. – Ken Schneider

SHOULD HAVE MOVED HERE SOONER I’m so happy I am here. I have made many new friends and should have moved here sooner than I did. There is something for everyone, plenty to keep one busy and joy in meeting new, interesting people. I swim 3-4 times a week, use the gym several times a week and enjoy the yoga classes. I love the choir, church services and the folks who work here. They are so helpful and make one feel like a family to all. – Elizabeth Anderson

TOP NOTCH I enjoy going to the café for a midmorning snack and coffee, reading my paper there and conversing with the people. I like all the effort put into keeping residents informed on what’s going on. I appreciate all the socializing events. Everything is top notch. – Mary Deglow

BY FAR THE BEST My wife and I toured 8 different independent facilities and Tudor Oaks was by far the best. We like the fact that we don’t need to move to a different facility if we need more care. I enjoy Friday movies, the planned entertainment and coffee with the “guys.” – Robert Jack
