This is our philosophy and our ethics. In this context, we make it a point of honour to be committed to the environment from the design to the manufacture of our creations.

To design our furniture and textiles, we have called on French designers who have shown great creativity to reinvent the French style. Our partners are family factories in France and Western Europe, demonstrating a unique know-how. By working in a short circuit, we promote local production and reduce CO2 emissions. For exports, we will always give more importance to the softest transport.

Our raw
materials
A newborn baby sleeps an average of 20 hours a day, during which time his skin is in constant contact with bed linen and furniture fumes. We have therefore selected high-quality raw materials that respect the environment and guarantee the health and safety of babies

Our furniture collections Solid pine is a natural and authentic material that lasts over time to be passed on to future generations. It comes from eco-managed European forests. The satined painting of our furniture is water-based and does not release any toxic substances for your children. Ecological MDF gives furniture a smooth finish and a soft touch.
Our textile collection Organic cotton is organically produced and has not been treated with any chemicals to preserve the planet. It is hypoallergenic and respects the health of very young children. Maison Charlotte has chosen to use 100% organic cotton percale known for its great softness to guarantee quality and comfort to your children. Made from a special weave with very tight yarns, this high-quality textile has a long life and is very resistant. All dyes used do not contain any heavy metals.

C’est un univers élégant qui porte l’âme de la France et est heureux de transmettre son héritage enrichi au fil du temps. Maison Charlotte, ce sont aussi des souvenirs d’enfance : entendre les rires des enfants réveiller la joie et la spontanéité dans notre cœur. Le réconfort de se blottir dans le linge de lit et se laisser bercer par sa douceur. Poser sa tête sur l’oreiller et se noyer dans les mystérieuses arabesques des broderies. Ces souvenirs inspirent nos créations d’aujourd’hui. Nous souhaitons partager l’esprit de famille et cette joie enfantine dans la maison. Maison Charlotte, c’est une collection de meubles et de linge de lit au charme intemporel et emplie de douceur. Maison Charlotte a conscience des enjeux écologiques pour la planète. Ainsi, il nous a paru évident de travailler main dans la main avec des partenaires écoresponsables sélectionnés par nos soins. C’est là notre philosophie et notre éthique. Dans ce cadre, nous mettons un point d’honneur à nous engager en faveur de l’environnement, de la conception à la fabrication de nos créations. NOS PARTENAIRES ET LIEUX DE PRODUCTION p7 Afin de concevoir nos meubles et nos textiles, nous avons fait appel à des designers français ayant fait preuve d’une grande créativité pour réinventer le style français. Nos partenaires sont des usines familiales en France et en Europe Occidentale, faisant preuve d’un savoir-faire artisanal unique. En travaillant en circuit court, nous favorisons la production locale et réduisons les émissions de Co2. Pour l’export, nous accorderons toujours plus d’importance aux transports les plus doux. LES MATIERES PREMIERES p8-9 Un nouveau-né dort en moyenne 20 heures par jour, heures pendant lesquelles sa peau est en contact permanent avec le linge de lit et les émanations du mobilier. Nous avons donc sélectionné des matières premières nobles de qualité, respectueuses de l’environnement et garantes de la santé et de la sécurité des bébés. Notre collection de mobilier : Le pin massif est une matière naturelle et authentique qui dure dans le temps pour être transmis aux générations futures. Il provient de forêts européennes éco-gérées. La peinture satinée de nos meubles est réalisée à base d’eau. Elle ne contient que très peu de solvant et est ainsi bien plus saine pour les enfants. Le MDF écologique confère aux meubles des finitions lisses pour un rendu uni et un toucher doux. 56
Notre collection textile : Le coton biologique est issu d’une production biologique et aucune substance nocive n’a été utilisée durant le processus de fabrication. Hypoallergénique, il respecte la santé des tous petits. Maison Charlotte a choisi d’utiliser de la percale de coton 100% organique connue pour sa grande douceur afin de garantir qualité et confort à vos enfants. Réalisé à partir d’un tissage particulier avec des fils très serrés, ce textile de haute qualité bénéficie d’une longue durée de vie et est très résistant. Les teintures utilisées ne contiennent aucuns métaux lourds. LES NORMES ET LES LABELS p11 Le label exige qu’aucun produit nocif à la santé des bébés n’a été utilisé et assure la meilleure qualité textile. Oeko-Tex est garant du traitement des déchets pour un produit sain et écoresponsable. Tous nos produits sont conformes aux normes de sécurité européennes et aux normes françaises.
