HALIFAX NOVA SCOTIA From the moment you arrive, you will know why you will fall in love with Halifax. You are surrounded by premier restaurants, year-round vibrancy, harbourside charm and a closeness to nature. It’s no wonder that Nova Scotia licence plates say “Canada’s Ocean Playground”.

Come and be “sociable” in a city which boasts having the most pubs per capita and some of Canada’s finest restaurants. It is fitting that Halifax’s most famous brewmaster also became their mayor three times. Alexander Keith’s welcomes you with costumed guides, stories and of course, good ale. While in Halifax become a soldier for a day at the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, visit a 200-year-old restored fishing village at Fisherman’s Cove, hear captivating sea stories from small to the Titanic, visit the historic

Pier 21, stroll through the beautiful grounds of Halifax Public Gardens, take one of Canada’s best walks along the Halifax Waterfront or experience the craftsmanship of Canada’s only mouth-blown, hand-cut crystal maker, NovaScotian Crystal on the Halifax waterfront. These are just a few of the memories that await you in Halifax. See you there.

PICK-A-PRIZE

FEATURED HIGHLIGHTS

Participating exhibitors in the pick-aprize game in the exhibit hall receive ballots that they can distribute at their own discretion and as many as they wish to all conference attendees. Ballot boxes displaying the prizes will be located in the registration area where the attendee can drop in one or all of their ballots to quality for the corresponding ballot box prize. Feel free to place all your ballots in one box or spread them out among all the ballot boxes for a chance at multiple prizes. The choice is yours and the fun is in collecting the ballots.

DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD RECEPTION Join your colleagues and exhibitors in the exhibit hall on the afternoon of Thursday, June 14 for a cocktail reception to honour the Frank S. Capon Distinguished Service Award recipient.

EXHIBIT HALL PASSPORT Again this year, visit the exhibitors, find out what’s new in their organizations and their products, have your EXHIBIT HALL PASSPORT BOOK marked by 75% the exhibitors to qualify and drop it off in the drum at registration by end of the Friday networking break. The lucky winner of $2,500 in cash will be announced at the closing luncheon. FEI CANADA LOUNGE

EXPLORE HALIFAX

Take a moment to charge your mobile device at the mobile app charging station or take a few minutes to recharge yourself, or meet another colleague or mingle with FEI Canada national staff.
