Pour contrer cette menace trop épouvantable, L devra quitter le cocon de son antre hermétique et aseptisé, pour aller dans le « vrai monde ». Les mangas de l’auteur Tsugumi Ôba et de l’illustrateur Takeshi Obata ont charmé des millions de gens dans le monde. DEATH NOTE a été récemment
adapté au grand écran par le talentueux Shusuke Kaneko. Deux longs métrages qui furent des succès retentissants, l’an dernier, à Fantasia. Si vous êtes des mordus de la série, réjouissez-vous: le personnage de L est de retour dans cette fascinante extension. Et qui pourrait bien réaliser la « chronique parallèle » de L? Nul autre que Hideo Nakata, créateur des RINGU , RINGU 2 , et DARK WATERS . Nakata ne déçoit nullement dans sa manière de décortiquer les esprits jusque dans leurs recoins les plus sombres — ce qui est tout à fait dans le cadre des DEATH NOTE . Ken’ichi Matsuyama incarne le personnage de L « comme un démon dans nos songes », dit le réalisateur, qui s’est attaché à enrichir et développer la complexité de L. And guess who’s in the director’s chair! None other than Hideo Nakata, the very same who crafted the prototypical J-horror sensations RINGU , RINGU 2 and DARK WATERS . There’s no questioning the delight Nakata takes in poking about in the mind’s darker corners, making him highly suited to tackling this eerie addition to the phenomenally popular DEATH NOTE canon.
