PHILOSOPHY
Passionate about SUP, we are constantly looking for new shapes and new models to make the practice even more accessible to all. The MATIRA inflatable range are boards that are resistant to impacts and crushing, perfect for travelers, families, children... When folded in their bags, those boards are easy to transport (car or plane) and take little storage place.
Designed for all types of water conditions and practitioners, we’ve adapted them to widths from 30.5’’ to 33’’ for accessibility. Ideal for cruising, they perform surprisingly well for surfing thanks to their stiffness and shape quality. Included with the board is a bag and a pump so you can easily get them anywhere and inflate them on the spot.

8’6’’ The 8’6’’ is designed for small riders, children, teens and for girls. This board is super easy and stable thanks to its width of 30.5’’; It is very resistant to impacts and ideal for a first approach to SUP.

9’6’’ Its length of 9’6’’ allows to keep enough directional stability, with good gliding ability for cruising. Thanks to its 32’’ width, it remains easy to use and stable. It is short enough to handle the surf with ease. With its 4 inch (10 cm) thickness, engaging the rail is simple allowing more performance oriented surfing.

TECHNOLOGIES The Drop Stitch is an incredible technology, originally developed for the hull of inflatable boats or canoes. With a grid composed of vertical threads, it allows to keep the top and bottom surfaces of the inflated board parallel. Our quality of construction allows a safe inflation pressure of 17 PSI.
The differences in quality and technology are easily identifiable by the strength of the materials we use and our method of construction, the rigidity and the fluidity of the outline and rocker. Adapting the shapes of our rigid boards is a necessity in the design of inflatable boards because the rigidity is different, as well as rail profiles and fins.
