Alguns alunos do 1º Ciclo (3º ano) deslocaram-se às salas dos grupos do Jardim de Infância para lerem histórias escritas em turma, em atelier de escrita criativa, sobre a importância da Água e a mudança de comportamentos para a sua preservação.
Some students of the Lower Primary (3rd grade) came into the groups of the Kindergarten to read stories written in group, in a workshop of creative writing, about the importance of the Water and the change of behaviours to preserve it. The students chose the work groups, debated the theme and prepared the presentations for the youngest colleagues. After the activity they evaluated the work and suggested similar sessions with other themes.
Os alunos escolheram os grupos de trabalho, debateram a temática e elaboraram as apresentações para os seus colegas mais novos. Após a actividade fizeram a sua avaliação e calendarizaram outras sessões idênticas, com outras temáticas.

Stories were presented to the groups / classes and they discuss the question of values / behaviours they found.

Different activities were developed with student, according to each one of the values / behaviours. The activities were integrated in the curricular activities, connecting into the worked contents.

Cada aluno decorou uma caixa e colocou dentro dela alguns brinquedos, livros, material escolar.
Each pupil decorated a box and put inside some toys, books, school materials.
As caixas foram posteriormente distribuídas a crianças com necessidades. Esta actividade foi realizada por todos os alunos a partir dos 3 anos.

The five year’s group of children debated the theme "Christmas and Values" , and the way they think that Christmas should be celebrated.

Partilharam, ainda, algumas das suas pesquisas sobre o tema, estratégias e materiais utilizados na elaboração dos trabalhos e respectiva avaliação.
They also shared their researches and results about the theme, strategies and material they used to prepare works for the Exhibition and evaluation.
Registaram-se imensas perguntas comparações sobre as diferenças semelhanças entre os oito países.
There were a lot of questions and comparisons about differences and similarities between the eight countries.

Os alunos do terceiro ano de escolaridade debateram o tema das Boas Maneiras à Mesa e resolveram fazer uma lista de regras, ilustrá-las e elaborar um PwP.
Students of 3rd grade discussed the theme of “Good Manners at Table” and decided to do a list of rules, illustrate them and make a PwP presentation.
Posteriormente a apresentação foi mostrada a vários grupos / turmas, servindo de sensibilização para a melhoria das Boas Maneiras no refeitório. A turma foi sentindo algumas melhorias nos procedimentos dos colegas e mostrou-se mais participativa nas chamadas de atenção.
This work was shown to several age groups / classes, and it was used to teach colleagues about the theme. The 4th grade class felt some improvements in behaviours during lunch time and tried to be more participant helping youngest colleagues.

A Festa Final do 1º ano de Projecto realizouse em recinto aberto, no Jamor (Cruz Quebrada), para toda a comunidade escolar.
The Final Event of the 1st year of the Project took place in an open field, in Jamor (Cruz Quebrada), for the whole school community.
Cada país participante do Projecto tinha um stand de exposição com trabalhos realizados pelos alunos (metodologia de Projecto) e a comunidade educativa foi convidada a visitar os stands, onde eram carimbados passaportes de participação.
Each participant country of the Project had a stand of exhibition with works carried out by students (methodology of Project) and the school community was invited to visit, where passports of participation were stamped.
No final realizou-se uma apresentação de palco com músicas e encenações de elementos culturais de cada país, com a participação de todos os alunos.

Açorana foi o nome escolhido para a mascote de Portugal, um cachalote da Região Autónoma dos Açores.
Açorana was the name chosen for the Portuguese character, a sperm whale from Azores one of the regions of our country.
Depois de uma escolha inicial, uma criança do grupo de dinamização Comenius na nossa escola, deu a ideia de escolher como mascote um animal em vias de extinção, para que pudéssemos sensibilizar os outros para essa realidade. Posteriormente as crianças nos seus grupos / turmas escolheram um nome para a mascote e votaram no nome Açorana.
After an initial choice, a child that belongs to the Comenius Team of our school (the group in charge of the implementation of the Project) gave the idea to choose as a character an animal in extinction in order that we could work on behaviours preventing that new reality. Then, children in their groups/classes gave some names to the character and vote for the name Azorana.
