LEGO FLOTSAM
Ahoy, There! Toy armadas of miniature, nautical-themed Legos have been washing up on the beaches of Cornwall in England, the West Briton reports. The Legos are the flotsam of a 1997 accident, when the Tokio Express was hit by a massive wave, sending 62 containers, including a crate full of Legos (4.8 million pieces!), overboard. With new pieces being washed ashore every day — including in England’s Devon, Ireland and Wales — Lego fans have been combing dunes and sharing their finds (tiny flippers! octopuses! dragons!) on Facebook.
