Roots

R00ts On October 22, 1912, the College of Marshall was chartered. Now, 100 years later, we look back on our roots, learning from their mistakes and their triumphs, carrying on some of their traditions while we start some of our own. Join us in a celebration of the past as we look to the future, trusting God to guide our steps. ~The ETBU Yearbook Staff

This book is dedicated to the past members of the ETBU, ETBC, and COM family, and to the idea that we are rooted and grounded in love through Christ.

Every year, ETBU Faculty and Staff select one senior girl based on Christian character, social consciousness, personal poise, academic achievement, and spiritual vision.

Each senior girl chooses an underclassman as her “little sister” to which she will pass on her legacy and the legacy of ETBU. Here, the little sisters bring out a garland in preperation for the seniors.

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Ephesians 3: 17-19
