VACANCY - C++ SOFTWARE ENGINEER Starting date: as soon as possible. Full time.
The job: You will be leading the software development team. Your responsibilities include developing a desktop slicing software and developing communication between the software interface and the 3D printer. Your daily activities include programming, testing, coordinating with the CTO, partners and the material development team. You will carefully balance project specifications, process requirements, timing and budget. We build large scale inkjet 3D printers that use our patented inorganic polymer material systems to create custom, highly precise stone parts that find their use in fields ranging from restoration to heavy industry. Our perfect candidate has: 3+ Years of relevant experience in design and coding of software interfaces. Strong development ability in C++ oriented to 3d visualization, image processing, contouring, rendering and geometry manipulation. Expertise in Visual studio, Qt, OpenGL and/or VTK. Experience in communication with Siemens 7 PLC is a plus.Experience in a high-tech industrial / production environment and/or in factory automation has a preference. A flexible, independent and proactive startup mindset Affinity with 3D printing, inkjet technology or inorganic chemistry is an asset. Fluent English is required. Dutch is an asset.
