IOT are also used in healthcare to monitor patients and provide better patient care.

b. Renewable energy – use of solar, wind power to reduce carbon emissions and implementation of smart grids to ensure better use of energy.

c. Blockchain – can be used to track origin of products.

d. Remote working - leverage remote working to reduce carbon emissions and improve work-life balance for employees.

c. It is very important that all technological implementations / migrations were managed through an appropriate change management policy with a topdown approach. Of course, all this can run smoothly with an active and energetic LEADER who actively participates in the process and leads by example.

Another significant issue is meeting the internal and external audit requirements, compliance regulations, data security issues, etc which needs a lot of deliberation to resolve. In addition to all of these, the cost allocation for such implementations is always a constrain in connection with IT budgets as these departments were always been considered as a support function and the fund allocation also will be accordingly.

Nowadays, the social and ecological impact of technologies and their consequences are hotly debated. Given the speed at which the latest technology trends are being adopted in various industries, most of them were least bothered on the significant implications of these adoptions in social and environmental scenarios. The extensive use of technology is having increased impact on the environment like generation of e- waste, over consumption of natural resources etc. All these by-products of technological advancement and the same to be managed with a better approach. At the same time, technology adaptation has contributed a lot of positives to the environment by developing various methods of utilising natural resources, and one major example is the
