T
he James H. Brooks Field House is the capstone of a $6.5 million fund-raising effort to renovate and upgrade the College’s athletic stadium. Dedicated this October, the Brooks Field House provides state-of-the art classroom
space, locker rooms for student athletes, and office space for coaches. A highlight for many fans of Emory & Henry athletics are the gathering spaces on the building’s second floor overlooking the field. As of June 30, 2012, donors have contributed $3.8 million (59 percent) of the total amount needed. Continued donor support is crucial as the College seeks to bridge the financing and cover the cost of this project.
