new NOMINEES for CORPORATOR Class of 2024 Beth Burns, Fitchburg – Beth is the Director of Community Relations for Artisan at Hudson, a senior-living community. Prior to her role at Artisan, Beth worked at the Wachusett Chamber of Commerce, and for many years as a real estate agent and a hairstylist. All of her roles have focused on meaningful relationships and exceptional customer service. Beth is a lifelong area resident, growing up in Marlborough and currently residing in Fitchburg. She spends spare time with her boyfriend, dog, family and friends. Beth enjoys cooking, gardening and working on her 110 year old home. Karin Castro, Boxborough – Karin is a trained pediatric occupational therapist and certified early intervention specialist. She spent the earlier part of her career at NY hospitals and has worked with young children and their families at Minute Man Arc Early Intervention since 2008. Karin earned a B.A. degree from the University of VT and an M.A. from New York University. She is actively involved in community organizations and has interest in personal fitness activities. She and her husband, David, have grown children and live in Boxborough. Francesca (Chessie) Cataldo, Concord – Chessie is an attorney, currently consulting with Williams & Connolly LLP, representing large corporate clients. She has previously served as clerk for various federal court justices. She is bar licensed in Massachusetts and the District of Columbia. She is involved with community organizations including the Concord Historical Commission, ConcordCarlisle Community Chest, Open Table and Harlem Lacrosse. Chessie earned a B.A. in History from Wake Forest University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Chessie lives in Concord with her husband, Simon, and two young children.

Katie Fahey, Concord – Katie began a career in television production, working on Court TV and Saturday Night Live. She later earned a Masters Degree in Education and worked as an elementary educator in VT, Chicago and Cambridge, MA. Katie also has lent her talents, supporting the development and event planning functions of organizations such as the Concord Country Club, Concord-Carlisle Community Chest, Edgartown Yacht Club, Chappaquiddick Beach Club, Milldam Nursery School and Willard Elementary School. Katie is also actively involved with the National Charity League and Stepping Stone Foundation. Katie enjoys many outdoor sports and activities, playing bridge, reading and cooking. She lives in Concord with her husband and three children. John Gibbons, Bedford – John is Minister Emeritus at the Unitarian Universalist church in Bedford, after serving as minister for over 30 years. He has been appointed as Community Minister at the Arlington Street Church in Boston. He has had involvement with the community including the Human Relations Council, Violence Prevention Coalition, Hate Crimes Response Team and Bedford Board of Elections Registrar. In 2021, the Bedford Chamber of Commerce recognized John for its first COVID Citizenship Award. John is a graduate of Tufts University and Harvard Divinity School. Helen Kim, Sudbury – Helen Kim is passionate about understanding the industry needs and discovering technology solutions. Helen is a scientist turned entrepreneur. Beginning in 2014, she and her team brought cutting-edge research technology into mass market products such as base stations, mobile devices, satellites and test and measurement industries. She and her team expanded to developing augmented neurons for deep


neural networks (DNN) and AI. She has been VP of Wireless Technology and IP at MaxLinear since their acquisition of NanoSemi in September 2020. Prior to the acquisition, she was co-founder and CEO of NanoSemi, an undisputed leader in a linearization solution based on machine learning for wireless systems. She and her collaborators from MIT and MIT Lincoln Laboratory transitioned a research technology to product at NanoSemi. She and her Bell Labs colleagues brought a 36channel parallel optical transceiver to market at Aralight. She received her Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Columbia University. As of March 1, 2022, Helen has left Maxlinear to explore opportunities in healthcare. She is delighted and eager to learn about Emerson Hospital as a corporator and how she can contribute to the community. Frances Kosenko, Westford – Frances is an active volunteer in the Westford community, serving on the Board of the Cameron Senior Center. She also oversees the Center’s gift boutique and weekly food distribution program. Frances is also involved with the Westford Library, House of Hope Birthday Wishes program and the Westford Women’s Club. Prior to her retirement in 2020, Frances managed a wholesale gift center for more than 20 years. Frances lives in Westford with her husband. Shu-Fang Lin, Acton – Shu-Fang is the Sr. Director of Clinical Support & Informatics at Fresenius Medical Care North America. With close to 25 years of professional experience in dialysis clinical quality analytics, coupled with 10+ years of volunteer work at Tzu Chi Foundation Boston Service Center where she currently serves as Deputy Director and TIMA (Tzu Chi International Medical Association) Administrator, Shu-Fang enjoys infusing her analytical perspective and bringing humanistic culture to the fields, offering a diverse portfolio of projects. A native of Taipei, Taiwan, she received Business Administration bachelor’s degree from National Chengchi University and a MHA from Clark University in Worcester, MA. A resident of Acton, she enjoys spending

time with her family, volunteering, cooking, and seizing every opportunity to live life to the fullest. Denis Mezheritskiy, Bedford – An entrepreneur, Denis is originally from Kiev, Ukraine. He earned his Bachelor Degree of Science in Finance from Suffolk University in Boston. In 2005, he gathered several investors and purchased the Produce Company of New England, Inc., where he served as company President. He quickly expanded the company within 5 years, supplying state contracts, employing over 20 employees, and overseeing every aspect of running a business. In 2009, Denis purchased P.A. Milan, a distribution company out of Wilmington, MA, which he merged with Produce Company of New England. In 2014, he sold his share of the company and turned his focus to expanding Moving Forward Physical Therapy, a Bedford, MA venture that he purchased with his wife in 2010. Together they have expanded their passion for health and wellness and also own Club600, a CrossFit health club and StretchMed Studio, a one-on-one stretching studio. Denis is currently President of ROI Corporation, a Mergers and Acquisition Firm with a specialty in Medical Practices. Brindha Muniappan, Lexington – Brindha is Senior Director of the Museum Experience at the Discovery Museum in Acton, MA. She is enthusiastic about producing meaningful ways for people of all ages and diverse experiences to engage with science and technology. Brindha’s passion for science communication led her from the research bench at MIT — she has an undergraduate degree in environmental engineering and PhD in biological engineering — and into the field of informal science education. Prior to her current role, Brindha held positions at the MIT Museum and the Boston Museum of Science. She also serves on the boards of the Museum Education Roundtable and the new England Museum Association. Brindha lives in Lexington. Dawn Rennert, Concord – Dawn Rennert lives in Concord with her husband and four


children. She is a co-owner of the Concord Bookshop, an active member of Tri-Con church, and serves on the planning committee for the Concord Festival of Authors and the Town's Economic Vitality Committee. Her first experience with Emerson Hospital was taking her son to the ED with a broken arm on the day they moved to town 15 years ago; since then, Emerson has continued to provide quality and compassionate care for their family. Machiko Sano Hewitt, Lincoln – Machiko is an attorney with a practice focusing on nonprofit organization / charity / tax-exempt organization law including formation of nonprofit entities, compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate governance matters, fiscal sponsorship, corporate transactions, mergers and dissolutions. She served as Nonprofit Assistance Director for the Lawyers Clearinghouse on Affordable Housing and Homelessness for many years. Machiko has been a translator for AK Peters and a lecturer for Tufts University’s language programs. Machiko represented Japan in the Fletcher North Pacific Rim Seminar and Conference in Sapporo, Japan. Machiko earned degrees from Hokkaido University, Japan and Northeastern University. Machiko was born in Japan, but has lived in the United States for many years. She resides in Lincoln with her family. Jaime Schulze, Shirley – Jaime is a Senior Associate Director of Admission and Director of Multicultural Recruitment at Lawrence Academy. She has over a decade of experience in admissions work which includes communications, marketing, recruitment, and public relations. When not in the admissions office, you can often find Jaime on the soccer field. She helps coach varsity soccer for Lawrence Academy in addition to coaching for FC Stars. A native of North Andover, Massachusetts, she went on to play Division 1

college soccer at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and received her bachelors degree in communications and exercise and sports science. A resident of Shirley, Jaime enjoys spending quality time with her husband and twin boys, traveling to and exploring new places, and catching as many local sporting events as possible. Sam Williams, Boston – Sam has been in the non-profit sector for over twenty years and currently serves as the Executive Director of Concord Prison Outreach. He is a native Bostonian and a graduate from Boston University with a master’s degree in City Planning. He has been instrumental in various local/statewide/national initiatives, including historical racial injustice, racial profiling, juvenile justice reform, restorative justice, positive youth development and public safety. He is the current Community Advisory cochair for Northeastern University’s Institute of Race and Justice. He has received honors including the City of Boston for Men’s Healing Circle, Boston Neighborhood Fellow Award and the Whittier Street Men’s Health Summit Health Champion. Sam is a certified yoga and meditation practitioner. He lives in Milton. Sara Wilson, Carlisle – Sara Wilson is a

managing partner of an ESG focused private equity group who has served on many nonprofit boards over the years. Among other current board positions, she is a member of the Carlisle School Committee and Chair of the Concord-Carlisle Regional School Committee. Born at Emerson Hospital, Sara returned to Carlisle about 10 years ago with her husband and two daughters after many years of living between New York, Italy and Cape Cod. Sara is looking forward to being part of the Emerson Hospital Corporator team.
