ROCK ME IN 2023, WE DO IT FOR THE KIDS!

Busy busy busy the Temple is abound with activity. From the Circus committee getting all the details nailed down for our nine spectacular shows in late April to the Fife and Drum having a highly successful Johnny Holmes dance and turning around and preparing for a very busy St. Patrick’s day. The Chanters had a great Rock the Shrine night with POP ROCKS. Blast and Cast’s “Cabin Fever” was once again a fantastic night and huge success due to a tremendous amount of planning. The Motor Corp’s annual Frozen Pub Run was a chilling success. The Motor Corp and Sprint Cars teamed up for their CASH RAFFLE , I hope you didn’t forget to get your chance at a 10 Thousand dollar payout. These fund raisers are not only fun but the men of the El Riad Shrine, with help from some ladies, go above and beyond to make them successful, a big shout out to all of them. THANK YOU!!

The annual Midwinter Session for the MSA was canceled due to a huge winter storm and was put off until April 18 through a zoom style meeting, some how I don’t think that will be near as much fun.

The travelers, Ill Sir John Whitelock, recorder and Ill Sir Maury Richard, Treasurer are down in Texas gaining the additional knowledge to further their leadership roles, and just when you thought you couldn’t teach an old dog new tricks, they fool us.
