Latino Festival @ Harvard Pilgrim Health Care I

n honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care held two fun events at each one of their offices in Quincy and Wellesley last week. Put together primarily by the employees, these fun, interactive and educational lunch time events served to showcase the many aspects and contributions of Latinos in the US and beyond. The events included food, music (courtesy of Son del

Sol – Alfredo Velásquez) and dance as employees of HPHC were also treated to free dessert samples and beverages. Outside organizations such as ALPHA and El Mundo Newspaper also participated. “This is our 4th year of hosting this event and it is always great to see so many folks show up, especially from upper management. It shows the commitment to diversity,”

explained Oscar Cabrera, sales representative for new business sales, and one of the many who helped coordinate the festivities. Harvard Pilgrim Health Care President and CEO Eric H. Shultz, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing Vin Capozzi, VP of Marketing Dana Rashti, Executive Director of the Foundation Karen Voci,and Chief Human Resource Officer Jack Lane were among the many executives who had a good time
