Icons - Inspired by Pelé’s life The Pelé Sports Pelada crest logo signifies a collection that embraces Pelé’s small-sided background and is designed with those specialists in mind who continue to bring a new form of attitude to the game.
A repeated pattern of the Brazilian flag which was officially adopted on November 19, 1889.
Where the rope intersects to form a football net that makes that beautiful “swish” as the ball hits the net – a sound Pelé heard a record of 1283 times.
Two Roman numeral fives (V) join together representing small-sided football while cleverly forming the Roman numeral 10 (X) –the number Pelé wore throughout his football career. The Portuguese Cross is inherent in the DNA of the Brazilian Crest worn by Pelé for the National team.
5 pentagons of the ‘bucky ball’, join to form a star; representing the one world cup Pele won whilst playing Futsal in Brazil.
The single star represents the one World Cup Pelé won while still playing Futsal. He developed his quick ball skills for 3 years with a Futsal team in Baurú called the Rádium.
The checkerboard pattern – inherent to the fabric of football.
Not only does the Target represent Pelé’s precision on goal, but with inspiration taken from the various music genres at the time Pelé was at his peak, this boot has some unavoidable attitudes.
What we call the „1283 pattern“ represents ultimate goal scoring precision. The target and the the knot of the goal net celebrate the ultimate goal scorer. Pelé scored a record of 1283 times.
