Leather Technology KANGAROO LEATHER Kangaroo leather has a very unique fibre structure. Its internal fibres are very densely interlaced at very low angle compared to all other leathers, together with having a very low fat content and an optimal grain: corium ratio. This culminates in leather with the following performance properties: • Ultra high tensile strength: (corium). • Thin top layer of the skin (grain). • Incredible lightweight characteristics. • Extraordinary durability. • Superb conformity providing a ‘moulding to the foot’ feature. Utilising this superb fibre structure we engineer in to the leather other technical properties such as water resistance, sweat resistance, high colour fastness properties, dry-soft characteristics and much more.

The semi-curved cleat design in the bladed FG models allows for natural foot rotation, reducing the risk of the foot locking into the ground causing foot, ankle and knee injuries

MICRO-FIBRE Utilising our fibre innovation technology, we have created a light-weight, low density microfibre material that is engineered for softness and a stable glove like fit. The internal poromeric, micro-porous structure allows effective moisture management whilst maintaining water resistance characteristics to ensure the foot remains comfortable. DUAL FRICTION TECHNOLOGY. The dual friction technology is an applied compound specifically designed to increase grip and control levels between the boot and the ball. Essentially it features: • A chemistry based upon a polymer with a high hysteresis effect for maximum deformation and ‘contact patch’. • Polymer used is designed for high friction in dry and wet conditions, and specifically adapted to work categorically with modern day footballs. • Possesses chemistry based upon mega-multiple van der Waals force interactions for dedicated micre-adhesion.

BOVINE (CALF) LEATHER Bovine has an internal fibre structure that creates a slightly more elastic leather. Its grain corium : ratio also means that it has to be kept approximately 25% thicker than Kangaroo leather to achieve the correct physical strength properties. Despite this, we still permanently engineer into the fibres the necessary attributes of water resistance, sweat resistance, high colour fastness properties, dry-soft characteristics to ensure it meets with our requirements for footwear.
