MIRACLE LEAGUE OF MICHIGAN

Easterseals MORC's Miracle League of Michigan is a lifechanging adaptive recreational experience for children and adults with disabilities.

How many individuals participate?

Over 400 individuals play with Miracle League each year, and more than 7,000 athletes have played since the start of the program, twenty years ago. Roughly 1,200 volunteers donate their time annually as buddies who help our players

Where is Miracle League of Michigan located?

Our Miracle League baseball program has two fields for individuals to play non-competitive or competitive baseball on a team The Miracle League of Michigan field is located at the City Center in Southfield, MI and the Miracle League of North Oakland is located at Friendship Park in Orion Township, MI Our custom-designed surface accommodates wheelchairs and assistive devices to ensure safety of our athletes

What are Miracle League game days like?

Our fields are complete with an announcer booth and sound system Each player gets announced to the crowd as well as their own walk-up song, offering a true Major League game-day experience Each field also have a concession stand that employs individuals with disabilities and hundreds of devoted fans cheer on our athletes each game!

What impact does the program have?

Miracle League of Michigan provides organized recreational sports promoting overall youth well-being.

This program engages and enriches numerous partnerships with local groups each year including Mojo in the Morning and Time Team Detroit, the Detroit Tigers, and more!
