GENESEE COUNTY

In Genesee County, Easterseals MORC provides comprehensive office and community-based behavioral health services for families with children from birth to 18 years of age. Services are intended to increase resiliency by building on strengths and community supports to help families care for children in their own homes and provide the tools for children to thrive.

CHILDREN’S BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

Knowing when or who to turn to for help during a crisis or stressful situation is challenging Easterseals MORC offers services and resources for families who are:

Involved with the legal system.

Experiencing unusual and unhealthy arguments on a regular basis.

Suspecting substance use.

Noticing significant changes in mood and interactions with others. Considering out of home treatment options for their child.

OUTPATIENT SERVICES

Our core services include individual, family and group therapy, 24/7 coverage for crisis intervention, family-centered planning, psychiatric evaluation, and medication management services.

COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES

In addition to outpatient services, Easterseals MORC provides more intensive home and community-based services to children and their families who have serious emotional and/or substance use conditions. Services are eligibility based and funded through Community Mental Health. These services include:

HOME-BASED SERVICES

Home-based services are an intensive therapeutic process designed to keep children in the family home. Children from birth through 18 and their families are eligible to participate. The therapist, who is a master’s level clinician, provides a wide range of services to the child and family. Because the family is an integral part of the change process, a lot of therapy time is devoted to family therapy and helping parents develop parenting skills. All services are provided in the family home and in the community In addition, a child psychiatrist, and other consultative behavioral health providers are available to the children/adolescents and families served Families who participate are able to use our on-call therapist in times of crisis.

TRAUMA ASSESSMENTS

This early intervention program is designed to help children that have been exposed to traumatic events, assess the impact of those events and establish the best treatment to help them

INSURANCE INFORMATION

Easterseals MORC accepts most major insurances including Medicaid HMO’s. Outpatient Services are provided at the Centerline, Auburn Hills, Southfield and Flint locations.

Community Based programming is provided at Auburn Hills and Southfield serving Oakland County, Flint serving Genesee County and Grand Rapids serving Kent County Easterseals

MORC receives funding through Network 180, Genesee Health System, Macomb County

Community Mental Health and Oakland County Community Mental Health for individuals and families eligible under Medicaid.
