FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAM
Designed for school-aged children in Genesee County
Helping Genesee County children to be successful in school and the community.
Easterseals MORC Case Managers will work with community partners to provide support for parents/caregivers, reduce barriers, and increase student success. This support may include:
Assist with obtaining/maintaining safe and stable housing.
Link and coordinate available community resources (i.e. employment, clothing, food, personal items, diapers, educational programs, etc)
Strengthen positive parenting
Increase attendance at school - by reducing barriers related to attendance and academic concerns.
Provide transportation to appointments and community resources.
Identify behavioral health needs and connect to appropriate services.
An Easterseals MORC case manager will meet weekly with families, assess and identify needs, and provide necessary transportation.
Case Managers are available for families 24/7.
