Infinity of Glances work with local community Project anticipate work with two different groups of local community: school kids (6-11 y.o.) and elders (80 y.o. and more – ideally WW II combatants). Briefly, my aim is to hear their voice - I would like to ask children about the past and old people about future.

Workshop Concept for children 6-8 years old:

'Genesis' 1. 1.Introduction: slide show of images of earth, cosmic space, planets, universe. 2. Movement/Dance: What was at the beginning, what was before the beginning of the world? – to be performed – all together, actively 3. Art: To Draw the beginning of the world, beginning of Earth, beginning of Japan. 4. Presentation of works – explaining the idea, individually for children 9-11 years old:

'Old, Older, the Oldest' 1. Introduction: slide show of genre scenes from XX century and quiz – When the picture was taken? 2. What is the most important (word-meaning) for You? - drawing 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.

Division into groups (4-6 members) regarding the drawing from previous task and picking the next task What would You look like and what would You do 100, 500 or 1000 years ago? - group performance What would be the most important word (in certain times)? - open discussion Individual task – What would You change 100, 500, or 1000 years ago to make world better? - drawing Presentation of works – explaining the idea – individually

I would like to extract single words or phrases form children's explanations of their art works, therefor to keep workshop dynamic and consistent there is a need to record workshop for further analysis with translator / native speaker.

Interview with elders 1. What is Your name? When and where have You been born? 2. What is Your best memory, best experience? 3. What is the experience in Your life, You would like to don't have, to avoid, to skip? 4. If You would be young again what would You do? Would You change anything? 5. What do You see in the future? What future You see for next generations? 6. According to Your knowledge and experiences, What is Your advice for next generations?
