Square” with a strike/silent indicator, with a two train fusee movement striking on a bell, with a pull/repeat mechanism, the back plate and pendulum with engraved decoration and similarly signed, the arch top Gothic case with brass inlay and pointed pinnacles, 11¾” high. 1575 Spare lot 1576 A VICTORIAN GILT METAL AND PORCELAIN MOUNTED MANTEL CLOCK, the architectural case surmounted by cherubs flanking an urn, overflowing with fruit and flowers over a porcelain dial painted with flowers within blue, gilt and jewelled borders, flanked by porcelain panels painted with flowers in baskets suspended from ribbon-tied bows, with an eight-day bell striking movement, on a giltwood base and ebonised plinth, apparently retaining the original glass dome, 25½” high.
