CITIZEN WELL-CHECK PROGRAM

This program was developed as a way to enhance the safety of some of the community’s most vulnerable residents and provide peace of mind to those who care about them. Once an individual is registered in the program, a weekly telephone check is scheduled to verify the individual is able to respond. Without a positive response, the individual's emergency contacts are made aware. If an emergency contact cannot be reached, a uniformed police officer is dispatched to the address to determine the individual's status. For information, contact the Mint Hill Police Department at 704-545-1085.

The Mint Hill Fire Department is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days per year from 2 fire stations.
