Williamsburg Players

Shakespeare Festival

The Williamsburg Players is located on Hubbard Lane. The upcoming season includes, “Cats,” Sept. 11-27; “Mousetrap,” Nov. 6-22; “Run for Your Wife,” Jan. 15-31; “39 Steps” March 12-28 and “Guys and Dolls,” May 28-June 13. Every year, a group of talented Shakespearean actors and directors present plays at Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall. William and Mary Theatre

Panglossian Productions is a nonprofit theatre company dedicated to creating new artistic ventures through unpretentious innovation, experimentation and collaboration. Visit www. panglossian.org for tickets and information about their season, including a show scheduled for late February.

William and Mary Theatre offers a mainstage season of four plays and two dance events. Productions for 2014-15 are, “Big Love” by Charles Mee, Oct. 2-5; “Threepenny Opera” by Bertolt Brecht, Nov. 20-23; “Crowns” by Regina Taylor-Feb. 26-March 1 and “Spring Awakening” by Frank Wedekind, Edward Bond-April 23-26.
