In addition, cruisers will enjoy a Day At Sea--a first for HOLY SHIP! --with pool parties and artist performances all day long as the ship heads back to Miami. The February jaunt will also give cruisers a chance to explore the island paradise of Nassau, Bahamas in addition to another legendary private island party in beautiful Coco Cay, Bahamas. HOLY SHIP!’s expansion to two sailings opens this experience up to even more fans. As the proven industry leader, HOLY SHIP! is where music fans go to see the world’s top DJs perform in an intimate setting among multiple venues on board the ship into the late hours over three consecutive days and nights. Beyond the music, the MSC Divina is a stunning luxury liner and home to HOLY SHIP!’s loving fan community, appropriately dubbed #SHIPFAM. Along with the stellar line-up of DJs and artists the event is known for, the voyage will also be marked by signature onboard activities, theme nights, and workshops with intimate artist involvement. You never know just who might show up. Given the palpable excitement around the forthcoming trips, cabins on these sailings are in hot pursuit. Repeat cruisers received the opportunity to pre-book cabins, and new cruisers participated in a lottery, instantly filling the cabins for both treks. If you were not lucky enough to be a token holder, sign up on the wait list as cabins may become available in the coming weeks.

TRITONAL ANNOUNCE 'METAMORPHIC III' FOR SEPTEMBER

Tritonal are back and better than ever with 'Metamorphic' III, the third and final chapter of their hugely successful Metamorphic EP series. Due for release on Tritonal’s joint venture, London based record Label Enhanced Music, this EP celebrates the landmark 200th release on the legendary Enhanced Recordings imprint – “the label that delivers tune, after tune” (Mixmag). Including ‘Satellite’ featuring Jonathan Mendelsohn, ‘Anchor’ and the powerful down-tempo collaboration ‘Seraphic’ with Mr Fijiwiji, the EP is destined for big things and will build on the success of the first two Metamorphic EPs, completing the trilogy and leaving listeners wishing for a fourth chapter! Continuing on from the dance floor fillers of the two previous releases, Metamorphic III does not disappoint. ‘Satellite’ (released 4th August) offers the high energy that Tritonal are so famous for, supported by a powerful vocal from Jonathan Mendelsohn and gritty electro melodies and huge synth lines. ‘Anchor’ (released 1st September) provides more euphoria alongside the signature Tritonal build, dropping into what is sure to be a huge summer hit and heard throughout festivals and clubs across the globe. 'Seraphic', one of the darkest tracks from the Metamorphic series, is an absolute must hear and offers a beautiful contrast to the rest of the EP. Both singles will be available to purchase through Beatport ahead of the full release, which you can buy in all good download stores on September 15th. With the massive success of the Paris Blohm collaboration ‘Colors’ on Nicky Romero’s Protocol imprint and the continuing radio exposure of their track ‘Now Or Never’ from part II of the Metamorphic trilogy, ‘Tritonians’ around the world are desperate to catch one of Chad and Dave’s notorious, full-throttle DJ sets. With Metamorphic III just around the corner, this is yet another Tritonal release destined to blow up! Just in case you can’t wait for this release to drop, tune into the Tritonia Radio Show on Saturdays at 2pm EST on Sirius XM, channel 52 ‘Electric Area’. DJNEWSMAGAZINE INTERVIEW

INTERVIEW DJNEWSMAGAZINE

The sparkling combo of funked-out bass guitar, drums and synths on ‘Strong’ create a modern and unique track. With muscular hooks, combined with an anthemic vocal the two Frenchmen have yet again created the ultimate dance floor filler. We are talking about the last single of Arno Cost called ‘Strong’. Hey Arno, nice to speak to you, how are you doing? Where are you reading this interview? Hello, I am great thanks! I am actually reading this at home, just back from Bali! You just released your new bomb ‘ Strong’ on Size records in collaboration with Norman Doray. A collab 100% frenchy right? Tell us about ‘Strong’. Yeah it’s 100% french and I think the track itself sounds french too! We started producing it one year ago, in my studio in Paris. Norman came from LA and we spent the whole week working on it. We already had this vocal and we found quite quickly that synth lead. Then we built the track up and Strong was born! You always get the support from big names and your sound interest more an more superstars. But your sound is particularly loved by our swedish friends Steve Angello, Eric Prydz, etc… Your relation with those guys is really particular right? Of course. We’ve been knowing them for years now. I remember their debuts; their first tracks and we’ve always supported each other. Those guys are very talented and we are really proud that our music has been supported by them since the beginning! We are quite close to Steve now since Norman and I have signed 3 or 4 tracks on his label Size. We have seen you have been in the studio with David Guetta a few days ago.. New collaboration in working? This picture is actually an old one, from 2011. We have started some stuff together but nothing finished yet. He has a really busy schedule and it’s also hard for me to find time to finish this. I have so much other exciting stuff coming… You are described as the new ‘house fresh maker’ for many big superstars dj’s. Your sound is unique. What could you say about this? Well I would say I’m happy! It’s really important for me to sound « different » you know. I’m not interested in all this EDM hardstyle. I believe in groove and beautiful music. So I do my best to spread my music and it’s a great feeling when you see people enjoying it! You are in a certain ‘mood’ this year. What can we expect from you this year? I’m gonna keep on releasing new music. Touring more and more. Enjoying this lucky life I have! As I said, I have a lot of exciting projects coming, it’s not always easy to find the time to do everything, but I’m doing everything I can to make all this happen!!

14

DJNEWSMAGAZINE INTERVIEW

We know you will play at FIMF parties in Ibiza with David Guetta.. How you look forward these gigs? Can’t wait! Ibiza is always special and with David at “Fuck Me I’m Famous”. It’s even more special! Those parties are amazing, always packed and the crowd really receptive. Im playing there twice this year and I’m really looking forward to being back behind the desks! Are you not scared about this « pressure » that many producers have more and more coming from the industry? Not really. You have to deal with it anyway. I’m not big enough today to feel that pressure anyway but I know that I could live with it. You just got to do your thing you know, make music, be professional, play your shows, stay close to your fans and it will be fine! You just have to stay focused on what you like. What should be your biggest musical accomplishment when you look back in the past till now? I would say my tracks Magenta, Apocalypse and more recently Strong. I believe people will still listen to them within 10 years. And that’s what matters for me. I’m more into quality than quantity. But I also want to believe that it’s only the beginning, I’m still young and have a lot more to give to people... Are you a fan of social media, do you think it's massively important now? I like sharing my Dj life with my fans. I think they deserve to know what’s going on, what I’m doing when I’m on tour, what I like etc. I think it’s cool. I’m think it’s very important to stay close to the people. And today, you can’t be a proper artists without Facebook, twitter etc. I wouldn’t say it’s sad, it’s just a new period, a new generation and you got to to get used to it. Play the game! FIRE QUESTIONS: What piece of equipment could you not live without (not necessarily DJ equipment)? My iPhone Everyone’s got a hidden talent. What’s yours? Chess and Comics drawing Your favorite application this year? Sonic the Hedgehog from Sega!! We're reaching the end of this interview; do you have a message to your fans? Thanks for all your support and love. I wouldn’t be here without you!!

Revero Eternal Dance music prodigy Revero is back for his first Mixmash release of 2014. ‘Eternal’ escalates through anthemic and psychedelic synths, with melodic breakdowns backed up by pounding, euphoric drops and an undeniably catchy riff that will float around your head for days. A producer that’s reaching for the stars - and with such a work ethic, being pushed forward by Laidback Luke and with a place at the forthcoming Tomorrowland - he’s on the right path.

AVAILABLE ON BEATPORT Alesso Tear The Roof Up “Tear The Roof Up,” the brand new track from superstar DJ/ Producer Alesso, received it’s official world premiere tonight on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show, getting the ‘Future Exclusive’ stamp from the hugely influential British tastemaker. Alesso’s ‘Tear The Roof Up’ is an unadulterated slice of sonic euphoria. Brilliantly building from a tautly wound intro of anarchic beats into an all-out 4-to-the-floor rave smash, the track is a joyous ode to living life to the full. “I wanted to make a massive song that would literally make people want to tear off the roof,” says Alesso.

Jewelz & Sparks Dope Jewelz and Sparks have fast become two Germany’s brightest prospects on the modern club circuit. Having hit the ball out of the park with “Hot Rod”/”White Sun” and landed their debut Flamingo Nights compilation back in 2013, the duo returns to the label armed with latest of their heavy footed gems primed for outright summer destruction. Heavy on the beats and primed with full-bodied lead work, “Dope” is a grinding nod to the big room game buffered with an infectious vocal hook and that signature energy we have come to expect from the German powerhouse over the years.

AVAILABLE ON BEATPORT Sharam Jey & Teenage Mutants Understand Me! Bunny Tiger tracks are so instantly clubfriendly and playable that our philosophy was actually to stick to the strong originals and go without any remix work. But when some of our best buddies came up with own takes on their favourite Bunny Tiger tracks, we just had to give in to our enthusiasm. Completing the package is Bunny Tiger’s Greek force - also known as Thodoris Triantafillou & CJ Jeff, two highly gifted and steeply rising DJ/producers who express their remix-love to ’Understand Me!’ in a refreshingly playful and uplifting way.

AVAILABLE ON BEATPORT ARMIN VAN BUUREN PING PONG (DANI DEAHL REMIX)

You’ve heard ’Ping Pong’… but you’ve never heard it like this! This one goes LOW, with the subs pounding to make the party go crazy. Dani Deahl turns the original melody into a beast of a trap track, primed and ready for the main stage!

Cazzette Weapon (EDX Acapulco At Night Remix) ’Weapon’ is the soft track with the big bass line from Cazette, the swedish duo consisting of Sebastian Furrer & Alexander Björklund. The opening track of their debut album ’EJECT’, ’Weapon’ combines slick guitar work with an electro-driven beat, and now the highly anticipated Acapulco At Night remix from EDX is out now through PRMD. After Cazzette worked wonders on ’Everything’ back in 2012, EDX returns the favour with his charmingly melodic remix of ’Weapon’. First teasing fans with a snippet last year, EDX’s take on ’Weapon’ is a smooth one, delivering a charming Progressive House rendition that alleviates the original’s dub elements in a stylish, summertime manner.
