Rubén Mendiola Comcast Corporation What does it mean to be a part of the fastest growing minority in the U.S.? We are already an important group and are poised to become even more influential in the years to come. As Latinos, we will have a stronger opinion in the decisions and course this country takes in the near future. How has your heritage been beneficial or helpful in your career and/or business relationships? My heritage has allowed me to relate to groups that come from different backgrounds and find the affinity we all share. Considering I work in the Hispanic market at Comcast, being Latino has also always helped me have a better understanding of our consumers, the people that we serve, and ultimately, build lasting relationships and bonds with others with similar backgrounds. What advice would you give the next generation of Hispanic business leaders? What are some tips for other Hispanics beginning their careers? For those beginning their careers I would recommend finding work in an industry or job that they truly love, because when you are passionate about your work you will be both successful and happy.
