Timber and Wood products form the platform for life not just in the UK, but across the world. The research, science, development and employment of such a universal material demands highly skilled and knowledgeable workforce, whether from Forestry, Shipping, Manufacturing, Distributing, Retailing or Recycling and Energy Production.

HOW WE DO IT: CTI will work to stimulate growth and productivity. CTI governance will reflect a pan-supply chain approach to provide representation across the Industry. CTI activity will focus on: • Growing the Industry • Sustainability of future supply • Quality standards across the Chain • Education, Jobs and Skills • Careers in the Industry

THE SUPPLY CHAIN CTI will be working across the supply chain to gain input from all groups and interested sectors to gather information and data. Together with our partners, we will be mapping in such areas as Value & Growth, Sustainability, Jobs, Skills and Education, which will enable us to develop a clear engagement strategy and programmes going forward.
