AD Every year scripts another chapter into the story of Colorado State Athletics and each year we are striving – To Educate, Engage and Excel and thus fulfill our mission. This mission is achieved through the participation of many stakeholders – students, faculty, staff, coaches, alumni, fans and corporate partners – joining together to make CSU Athletics special and ontrack to be the Mountain West Conference’s preeminent program and recognized as one of the nation’s best. This report details some of the highlights experienced during the 2015-2016 academic year with 150 student-athletes receiving academic recognition from our conference, four teams earning MW titles, a record year for fundraising, milestone partnerships, positive strides with ticket sales and remarkable efforts by our students connecting with the community. Every stakeholder deserves a heartfelt thank you for a strong year of performances and accomplishments. These results are achieved because of the support of thousands who recognize the importance of intercollegiate athletics in the life of our University and its ability to provide access to a world-class education and also showcase CSU. Again, thank you for making the accomplishments of 20152016 possible and helping to shape the future of CSU Athletics.

Ram Tag Recipients
Ram tags serve as a representation of the Athletic Director Honor Roll. This high honor can be achieved in either the spring or fall semester, and is based on a student-athlete’s semester GPA. Students with a GPA of 3.25+ receive a bronze tag. Students with a GPA of 3.50+ receive a silver tag, and students with a GPA of 3.75+ receive a gold tag. The first time a student receives this award, they are given a name tag that has both their name and sport engraved on them, in addition to the tag representing their respective GPA.

Announced a five-year extension to its partnership worth $11M with Under Armour to continue as the exclusive apparel, footwear and equipment provider for Rams athletics programs through 2021. The new deal provides CSU Athletics more than 10 times the amount of product than the initial Under Armour partnership that begin in 2013.

Spectra Ticketing & Fan Engagement is the leading provider of ticketing, fundraising, marketing and analytics services in college athletics, powering 120 institutions throughout North America and nine of the 12 Mountain West Conference institutions with integrated services.

COMMUNITY
During the past year the community outreach program has embedded CSU Athletics in a direct and purposeful way into thousands of lives in Northern Colorado and the Denver metro area. With an aim of broadening the reach of Rams Athletics, our actions have added to the student-athlete experience at CSU. Hundreds of student-athletes have been involved, and thousands in our community have been introduced to Rams Athletics.

Colorado State earned four Mountain West championships in 2015-16, the most by a member school. The Rams’ eight MW championships over the last two years are second-most in the conference (San Diego State, 9).
CSU’s Volleyball and Women’s Basketball teams each finished their 2015-16 regular season with perfect 18-0 records in Mountain West play. It also marked the first time any two CSU programs went undefeated in league play in the same semester.
Three CSU programs competed as a team in an NCAA tournament or a bowl game in 2015-16: Volleyball, Women’s Basketball, Football. 9
The CSU women’s track and field team won each of the indoor and its second-consecutive outdoor Mountain West Championships in 2016, while CSU head coach Brian Bedard won his second consecutive and third overall MW Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Coach of the Year Award.

The Colorado State Volleyball program won its seventh consecutive Mountain West championship in 2015 and qualified for its 21st consecutive NCAA tournament behind AllAmerican Adrianna Culbert, who secured the program’s seventh consecutive Mountain West Player of the Year Award.
Ellen Nystrom was named Mountain West Player of the Year for the 2015-16 season, becoming the second player in program history to earn that honor, while Ryun Williams was named MW Coach of the Year for the second time in four years at CSU.

Mostafa Hassan earned firstteam All-America in the shot put during both the indoor and outdoor seasons. Hassan, who also was voted Mountain West Men’s Co-Student-Athlete of the Year, is the first Ram in program history to earn firstteam All-America honors in the shot put. He finished third in the shot put in the NCAA Championships, the best finish in that event in program history, as well as the best by a Ram in any event at the NCAA Championships since 2003.
Colorado State Football earned a third consecutive postseason invitation and competed in the Arizona Bowl. Head coach, Mike Bobo, became the only coach in school history to win seven regular season games in his first season as head coach.
