PROGRAM

Our fully accredited Bachelor of Arts in dance is designed for developing dance artists who are seeking a broad, rich background in both theory and practice. The curriculum offers intensive dance training through a lens of cultural competency and advocacy complemented by improvisation, dance history, kinesiology, and pedagogy. Program faculty are dedicated to developing each student’s individual artistry in a nurturing yet rigorous environment. Dance majors also have significant

performance opportunities to advance their artistry, including two fully-staged dance concerts per year, preparing them technically and creatively to pursue work in dance and related fields.
