ith a background that includes stints at some of the country’s top establishments, Executive Chef Matthew Foote is one of Canada’s rising culinary stars. His passion for local ingredients has inspired him to create honest and seasonal menus throughout his career and is the driving force behind his unforgettable cuisine at the historic Elora Mill Inn. Chef Foote attributes his success to his training, which began as a student at George Brown College. His apprenticeship at the Westin Harbour Castle helped propel him to other impressive posts including Scaramouche, Four Seasons Toronto and Langdon Hall, where an appreciation for the simplicity of food was first instilled in him.
