Creation Northwest 2012! A TRIBUTE TO OUR CREATOR™

The 15th Annual Creation Festival Northwest will be held July 18th-21st at The Expo Center in Enumclaw, WA. Creation 2012 is just around the corner and we invite you to attend with all your friends for an amazing “Tribute To Our Creator!” Come live, love and share the experience! Enumclaw is the perfect site for Creation Northwest. Camping is just beautiful with Mt. Rainer in the background. Getting to the festival is simple and fast from Seattle, Portland and neighboring communities. The site of the Expo center has such charm and easy access for all the events. The management and the town have been wonderful to work with and made Creation feel right at home. Over the years, through Creation Northeast and Northwest, hundred of thousands of people have come and had life-changing moments as God touched their lives. You can be among them this year. You can be a person who helps someone else to get to know the love of God in Christ. There will be plenty to do and see. A typical day starts at 9:00 am and concludes at 11:30 pm. As usual, the MAIN STAGE artists include some of the hottest bands in Christian music, with a wide variety of musical styles. Creation also has the priority of honoring God’s Word and providing inspiring speakers who will help in your spiritual walk. Other highlights include communion, candle lighting, baptism, artist’s meet & greet, fireworks, extreme sports, children’s ministry, worship, along with fellowship at your campsite and much more. The FRINGE STAGE is a place to rock out with the best up-and-coming bands. The WORSHIP STAGE is exactly as it sounds with an amazing time of worship in the afternoon. THE KID’S STAGE ensures that young children have a good time with music, puppets, animals, games, face painting and more. The LATE NIGHT CAFÉ STAGE winds down the day in an intimate setting and boasts of singers and comedians along with some coffee and donuts! And that’s only a sample...movies, games and a long list of activities including the PRAYER TENT to have someone pray with you. Our purpose and prayer for Creation Northwest 2012 is that people will be changed, restored, and encouraged to serve the Lord and to make a difference in this world. Creation Northwest 2012 could not take place without people like you, volunteering your time and talents for God. It takes over 1,500 staff to make the festival run smoothly - we need your help! Shifts are rotated daily, so that you work different parts of the day. We also make a special effort to place friends or family on the same shift. Tickets for volunteers working just 4.5 hours per day cost only a fraction of the regular fees for the week. This is a great way to afford coming to Creation and serving the body of Christ. Reggie’s Story... born to an unwed teen considering abortion, Reggie considers himself fortunate to be alive! With no place to go, this young mother, just a girl in trouble, abandoned abortion, and ended up living in a chicken coop in Louisiana. He and his mother were taken in by the Dabbs family and later adopted Reggie. His life and message and musical talents blend to get the message of hope in Christ across to all who will hear. He helps teens meet their problems head on and overcome them. In fact, his year is filled with public school assemblies, night evangelistic rallies, youth conventions,camps and retreats! And when summer comes, you’ll find Reggie in one of his favorite places, the Creation Festival!

Tony’s passion is “helping people get it about God’s great love and salvation!” Tony recently served as Tour Pastor and Gospel Communicator for Casting Crowns Lifesong Tour and Winter Jam. Tony’s love of Jesus and people is evidenced every time he speaks. An innovative Gospel communicator, Tony uses his wacky humor and passion for Christ to help people connect with God in a life-changing way. Recognized among the country’s most influential Christian communicators, Tony speaks to more than 800,000 students each year though radio, TV, conferences, festivals, concerts and church events. Tony is an author and producer of several popular teaching resources. Such as, Faith Fuel – A Refueling Journey and his newest book, HurtHealer. Born in 1982 in Brisbane, Australia, without any medical explanation or warning, Nicholas Vujicic came into the world with neither arms nor legs. God uses Nick to touch lives and bring the hope of Christ to people across the globe. He is the President of an international non-profit organization; Life Without Limbs.

Harry Thomas is Director and co-founder of the Creation Festival. He is the senior pastor of Come Alive Church in Medford, NJ and Founder and President of Come Alive International. Through Creation Concerts and the Creation Festival thousands of young people are challenged to serve Christ. He travels internationally with Compassion International and has been instrumental in missions in Africa and Haiti. He started Friendship Fest in Marrakech, Morocco with over 200,000 Muslims and this year, GhanaFest 2012 in W. Africa. Harry and his wife Margery have three married daughters and six grandchildren. His message comes from the heart of a pastor with a desire to see the youth of the world reached for Christ.

Jason Ostrander is the National Youth Director for The Christian and Missionary Alliance. Prior to his role as Director, he spent time in Canada, working on his Masters in Film & Theology at Regent College. Jason in addition to helping to emcee Creation is a is a well-traveled speaker who focuses on the advancement of God’s Word in the lives of both students and youth workers. He is clear and speaks to the heart.

Considered one of the nation’s top youth speakers, Bob easily connects with his audiences by sharing valuable biblical principles intertwined with stories and personal experiences that help youth deal with real life while re-igniting their faith. He explores sober issues while using his unique gift of humor. His messages of hope, worth, courage and respect ignite an interest in young people and somewhere between the laughing and the crying they realize their lives have been changed. Bob Lenz spoke to over 300,000 teens and parents across North America last year. Bob is the President of Life Promotions and Founder of Lifest held each year in Wisconsin.

“All for Jesus” is not just a catchphrase for evangelist Reid Saunders; it is a heart’s cry that penetrates his life, his family, and his ministry. Shortly after becoming a Christian, “God gave me a passion and burden so intense and a conviction so strong that I knew I would spend the rest of my life reaching people for Jesus Christ all around the world.” He received his Master’s of Divinity from Multnomah Biblical Seminary and served his internship at Luis Palau Association. Reid and his team have delivered a message of hope to more than 14 million people through their worldwide ministries; Reid and his wife Carmen have three children and live in Salem, Oregon.

Lonna has a passion to see people encouraged to find their identity in Jesus Christ and empowered to live the authentic Christian life. As an internationally known Christian communicator and the director of In His Grace Ministries, she is recognized for her transparency, humor and sharing the Scripture with boldness and joy. As a contestant in the nationally televised, 2002 Mrs. America pageant, Lonna had a front row seat to watch the lengths in which women went to strive for identity, acceptance and physical perfection. Lonna shares her personal story of neglect, abandonment and abuse in childhood; as a young adult she reveals the ravages of addiction and worldly life choices. Her life story is a living testimony of God’s ability to restore and redeem.

Dr. Duffy Robbins, Professor of Youth Ministry at Eastern University, St. Davids, Pennsylvania, is a thirty-plus year veteran of youth ministry. He will offer specialized seminars for youth workers attending Creation 2012 in the Youth Workers Hospitality building. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is the author of numerous books, curriculums and articles. Creation knows him well as one of the most informative and entertaining speakers we have the privilege to share the stage.

As a young boy Preston was invited to church by a deacon. This small effort made a great difference in the life of a young boy that God would eventually call into the ministry. After graduating from Valley Forge College, he intensified his ministry to teens through the local church becoming a successful youth pastor. Preston founded South Jersey Youth Alliance in 2000. Pastor Preston’s evangelistic heart and love for people has touched thousands of people. Pastor P’s message is aimed at helping young people figure out what their dreams are, inspiring them to achieve their goals, and encouraging them to be true to themselves instead of sacrificing their goals to peer pressure, violence or victimization.

Brian “Head” Welch

Brian “Head” Welch is from Bakersfield, California. At the tender age of 11, Head picked up a guitar and found his original calling. Barely out of high school, he helped found the controversial rock band Korn. The band became a grammy award winning, multi-platinum selling band, and quickly soared to the top of the music world while selling some 30 Million records internationally. The band was credited with being the major influence in the rise of the Nu Metal Movement. While with Korn, Head won two grammy awards and several MTV music video awards. In February 2005, Head shocked the music world when he resigned from Korn to re-dedicate his life to Christ and focus on raising his daughter, Jennea, as a single father. The event set off a media frenzy as observers around the world sought out to understand what led this rock star out of the darkness and into the light.

Dean E. Smith founded “Live To Forgive Ministries” in 2007. His mission is to spread the message of forgiveness based on the Word of God and his own personal testimony around the world. He became a Christian but knew that he was not receiving all that God wanted to bless him with because of the anger and resentment he harbored towards his step dad who had murdered his mother. He tried to escape with drugs and alcohol for many years until he discovered that there was no way around God for the relief he needed. In 1999, Dean handed over his un-forgiveness and resentment to God and his heart was transformed. He explains how one step of forgiveness can lead to a lifetime of blessings.

A water baptism for new believers will be held at 4pm on Saturday. All those wanting to be baptized should attend a teaching on this doctrine before the baptism, which will take place at noon and will be taught by Pastor Harry Thomas, Director and Co-Founder of the Creation Festivals. EXHIBIT AREA Featuring over 100 exhibits, this area houses a great assortment of merchandise and apparel available for purchase. Many of the Creation artists have spaces in this area as well. There are also numerous ministries and colleges offering free literature and information. LATE NIGHT CAFE STAGE

Night Owls will want to check out the Late Night Cafe. The fun begins at the close of the Main Stage and ends approximately around midnight. Each night will feature a mixture of singer/ songwriters, comedy, electronic dance music, and plenty of coffee, hot cocoa and snacks for everyone in attendance.

PRAYER TENT Located near the Main Stage arena will be a Prayer Tent, staffed with a qualified prayer team. The tent will be open from 9 AM until 11 PM each day to everyone in need of prayer. Complimentary bibles and an assortment of other materials will be available (while supplies last). Doctrinal differences will be respected with the emphasis on salvation and the basics of Christianity.

COMMUNION & MASS

Join with tens of thousands of believers as we close Thursday night with a very special communion service. Mass is held on Saturday at 4pm for our Roman Catholic attendees.

MEDICAL STAFF

You will be in the great hands of Dr. Dan Diamond and the staff of the Christian Medical Response Team. This team serves as a disaster response team for the State of Washington and also responds to medical needs of the Third World. Their goal is to show the compassionate care of the Great Physician to the world.
