FRANCE LOUIS VUITTON ●

The brand was created by Louis Vuitton in 1854.

It’s part of a group called Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy ( kenzo, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Dom Pérignon…)

Louis Vuitton sells luxury goods (such as: leather bags, shoes, watches, jewellery, accessories, sunglasses) in more than 60 countries.

Its headquarter is located in central Paris.

The prices for Louis Vuitton goods range from 450EUR to 3000EUR for handbags. ( from 150 to 550 for wallets).

Its main competitors on the world’s luxury goods market are Dior, Gucci, Prada.

FRANCE PSA Peugeot Citroën ●

The company was founded in 1974 when Peugeot acquired a 40% share of Citroën.

Its core activity consists in developping and distributing automobiles but also automotive parts. It now even offers financial products.

Since 2009, PSA has been offering a more premium range brand called DS.

The brand is present in many countries ( except North America).

FRENCH GUIANA “Délices de Guyane” is a company created by Solam on October 23rd, 2007 in RemireMontjoly in French Guiana. It is a local French Guianese society that deals with processing and preserving of fruits grown here or in the West Indies . It produces various products such as jam, liquors (punch), syrups and sauces. They sell their products at craft stores. They sell their products not only here but in many places (Toulouse, Guadeloupe). “Délices de Guyane” participates in trade show METROPOLIS each year.


FRENCH GUIANA • The French Guiana Space Centre (CSG) is the SpacePort of French and European launchers in Kourou in French Guiana.


FRENCH GUIANA The Centre (CSG) is the French and European spaceport located in Kourou, French Guiana. It since 1968. French Guiana was selected in 1964 to become the spaceport of France because it was particularly convenient. When the European Space Agency (ESA) was founded in 1975, France offered to share Kourou with ESA. Commercial launches are also bought by non-European companies. ESA pays two thirds of the spaceport's annual budget and has also financed the upgrades made during the development of Ariane launchers.

GERMANY Zeisner Feinkost GmbH & Co. KG Zeisner Feinkost GmbH & Co. KG is a German delicatessen manufacturer who specializes in sauces. The company was founded in Bremen in 1902 and has since the 1960s, its head office Grasberg, Lower Saxony. The family is currently managing the company in the fourth generation. In 1937 Zeisner produced Germany's first ketchup at a former manufacturing plant and thus occupied a niche market. Today, the company mainly occurs as a regional brand in North West Germany, but it also sells its products in Germany and internationally. A pioneering spirit In 1902, a lot is on the rise: the industry thrives, Art Nouveau is at its peak and Charles Lindbergh was born. In this year the Bremen merchant Waldemar Zeisner decides his start-up at the age of 31 years. The company's founder estimated the English Worcester sauce and imported gourmet sauces from England. After a short time this one and a number of similar sauces are produced. Zeisner is a family business with the experience of over 100 years and current know-how of the industry.

A roofer ensures that the houses are wind and weather proof. But in addition to just roofing roofers must also perform other tasks. GERMANY Roofer For this job you need the GSCE or a high-school diploma. The following subjects are taught in vocational schools: German, Math, Politics, technical drawing, mathematics, materials science and technical qualification, as related to the job. You have to be really good in mathematics, applied mathematics and expertise. These subjects are very important in the roofing. Advanced training to become a master craftsman, Meister in German, takes full-time 9 months. Only a Meister is allowed to train apprentices. The prospects of this job are very good. Volker Thiericke is my father and I am very proud of him.


GREECE “Palamas’ Farm” Palamas Farm is a local industry which produces strained greek Yogurt, which has 15 employees. 6 of them work in the industry and the other 9 distribute the products. Annually are produced approximately 900kg Yoghurt. The importance of this industry lies in the fact that the local products and the place are advertised.

Enzo Ferrari the founder, devoted his entire life to designing and building sports cars. He worked for Alfa Romeo from 1920 to 1929. . At Alfa, he adopted the prancing horse, insignia for his Alfa race car.In 1929, he left Alfa to start Scuderia Ferrari in Modena. Ferrari moved from Modena to Maranello during the war, where it remains today. During the 1950s, Ferrari had legendary engineers like Lampredi and Jano and the legendary Pinin Farina.. In 1951, a Ferrari 375 brought the team its first victory -- over Alfa Romeo, no less. The 60s were the era of the sexy, swooping 250 Testa Rossa. But things got rough for the Prancing Horse, like when Carroll Shelby brought his Cobra to European race tracks. After years of rivality, the Texan beat the Italian in 1964. Ferrari was having financial troubles and Enzo Ferrari sold part of the company to Fiat in 1969. The '80s also saw the convertible Mondial and the realization of Enzo Ferrari's dream, the F40. But in 1988, Enzo Ferrari died, at the age of 90 In 1991, Luca di Montezemolo took the reins of the Prancing Horse. The hot-blooded Ferrari cars met their match in the cool German driving of Michael Schumacher, who raced Ferraris to seven F1 championships between 1994 and 2004..This Year Ferrari's former Chairman, Luca di Montezemolo,resigned from

the company after 23 years and is to be succeded by Enzo Marchionne, CEO and Chairman f Fiat Chrysler Automobile, Ferrari's parent company.


POLAND It is a Polish cosmetics company with global reach. It currently has approx. 400 retail outlets in more than 50 countries on six continents (including about 160 in Poland). The company was set up in 1983. The international expansion began in 2006 with the opening of the first store in Montreal. In addition, the company operates activity as Inglot Cosmetics. 95 percent of the production is made in Przemysl. The president of the company is Zbigniew Zdzisław Niziński. The company employs several hundred people.


POLAND •The most famous ice cream parlour and sugar shop in Poland. The Grycan family started to produce ice-cream in 1946. They served it in a very small house, but the first professional ice-cream parlour was opened in Wrocław at Grunwald Square. Its signboard said: ,, Ice-cream Little Bear”. In 2004 they established ,,Grycan” company. •Now there are many ,,Grycan” parlours all over Poland. Grycan makes his products in a modern factory. They serve also cakes, shakes and smoothies. There are many flavours of ice-cream and sorbets ranging from simple chocolate to tiramisu and fresh fruit. •Since 1980 they have become famous under ,,Zielona Budka” brand.


SLOVAKIA


SLOVAKIA Kia Motors maintains a number of designs and manufacturing facilities in its home country of South Korea, the United States, Eastern Europe, China and Japan. In April 2007, Kia opened its first plant in Europe, at the initial cost of €1b, in Žilina, Slovakia, about 200 kilometers north-east of Bratislava, with initial production concentrating around the Kia Cee'd model, designed exclusively for the European market. The eventual capacity of the plant is 300,000 units per year. It is one of the few car factories in the world that is capable of building up to eight different models on the same line, and build ratios can be tweaked to suit demand. SPAIN Inditex, the biggest fashion group in the world, started his textile activity in 1963 until the present. In 1988 it begins to expand all over the world with his first shop Zara. Their main goal when they started was to offer a great variety at affordable prices. Now, it has more than 6,460 stores in five continents with about 128,000 workers. The international expansion of the group began in 1988, with Inditex opening its first foreign store in Oporto, Portugal. The eight commercial formats are: Zara, Zara Home, Stradivarius, Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Uterq端e, Oysho, Pull&Bear. Also, in 2008, Inditex launched Uterq端e, the new accessories brand of the company.


SWEDEN


SWEDEN Ö-varvet Ö-varvet is one of the most known company in our community, Öckerö kommun. They work with almost everything that has to do with boats, e.g reparation/service, electricity, new boats and reconstructions. They doesn't repair boats, they also sell fishing stuff. They can help boats that have a weight up to 900 tons. The company's founder is Ernst Backman and he started their business in 1916, as a reparation yard for fishing boats. Back then there were approximately five to ten people working. Nowadays it's a very big difference from when they only were five to ten people working beacuse today they are almost 80 employees. Ö-varvet has it's main workshop in the harbour of Öckerö, but they also have a smaller workshop on another island called Hönö. The company has been driven in four generations. Ö-varvet works under the environmental policy called ISO 14001. They want companies to use less resources when they work and lower costs for waste disposal. This year Ö-varvet had a turnover in a total of 1 542 530 SEK, wich is approximately 167 438 €.
