Jo Ann (Josephine Molocznik) Storey October 22, 1935 – September 11, 2013
Jo Ann Storey, 77, of Kearny, loving and devoted wife of the late Jerry Dean Storey, passed away on
Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, in an Assisted Living Facility in North Charleston, SC. Jo Ann is now free and
St. Joseph’s Parish is set for September 28th, beginning with a 4 p.m. Mass with Bishop Kicanas, followed by dinner at the Hayden Golf Course. There will be free food, drinks, entertainment & fun for the kids. 300 Mountain View Dr., Hayden

Angel Torrio Romero, 76, Hayden, passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013 at the University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. Mr. Romero was born May 31, 1937 in Fieros, New Mexico. He grew up in Fieros, New Mexico then eventually the family moved to the Thatcher/ Safford Area. He attended school in Thatcher, Arizona as well as working in the cotton field in both Thatcher and Safford. He then went on to join the US Air Force in November, 1954 until July, 1957. After the Air Force he went to work at the Safford Animal Hospital. In 1960, he began working for Kennecott Copper Company in Hayden, Arizona as well as the ASARCO Hayden Plant. He was employed for 35 years with a retirement date of 1995. During one of the Copper Strikes, he attended ITT Tech for training in Automatic Transmission. His hobbies included camping, fishing, going to the Casino, horse races, bingo and purchasing lottery tickets. Angel’s later years involved moving to Tucson under the care of a Private Caregiver. Left behind in loving memory is his daughter,

Christina Romero Alvarez (Bill) of Mammoth; sons, Gerry Romero (Leesa) of Phoenix and Freddie Romero (Collette) of Ft. Worth, Texas; brothers, Tony, David and Prudencio (Tots) Romero; and sisters, Mary Helen, Betty, Ofelia, Corina and Becky, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Romero is preceded in death by his son Angel Romero Jr. (Pee Wee) and brothers, Eddie, Michael and Henry Romero, along with parents Santiago and Carmen Romero. Visitation and funeral services were held on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 at the Griffith Mortuary in Kearny. His final resting place is at Mountain View Cemetery in Hayden.
