Historical Train Mural at Mr. Todd's Barbershop
Todd Fischer of Mr. Todd’s Barbershop in Frederick is excited to invite you to view another historical piece in Frederick. Todd joined with Jennifer Hall, a local artist, to bring the Carbon Valley yet another piece of history; namely, a mural depicting Steam Engine # 1253 from the early 1900s. Along with help from area museums, they found photos of an old Frederick train depot, as well as a train that commonly ran through what is now the Carbon Valley. Jennifer owns and operate "An Artists Vision" at 246 1/2- 5th street. She has a small art studio that offers private art lessons to anyone interested in engaging their artistic endeavors, from the ages 5 - 105! She offers adults, canvas or wine glass painting nights on a small and intimate level. She also offers private lessons in drawing and painting to anyone that feels they have a passion for the arts. Jennifer says, “I honestly feel that time can come to a peaceful stop or pause at least when we allow ourselves to escape in our passions. Please stop in or pick up a brochure outside the studio or just give me a ring! I have a Bachelors and Masters degree in Fine Arts. My vision is to bring as much art and culture to our community.” She adds, “As Pablo Picasso once said, ‘Every child is an artist.
