Cultural Activities Center (CAC) Azalee Marshall Cultural Activities Center (CAC) has been a hub of visual and performing arts in Temple for more than 50 years. Its art galleries host new exhibits about every six weeks and are open to the public, free of charge. The CAC also hosts numerous regional and national musicians and performers each year. The CAC’s Arts In Education program provides an opportunity for every child in kindergarten through eighth grade in the Temple and Belton school districts, plus other area students, to enjoy shows by professional touring artists. Performances blend entertainment with core curriculum subjects for more than 14,000 students during 54 shows each year. A number of member groups call the CAC home, including the Chisholm Trail Chorus of Sweet Adelines International and the Texas Country Gentlemen singing groups, and a wide variety of affiliated groups meet at the CAC, including the Central Texas Photographic Club, Newcomb School of Ballet, Central Texas Pastel
