A Wish With Wings A Wish with Wings is a nonprofit organization whose sole mission is to grant the wishes of Texas children with life-threatening diseases. Since 1982 we have granted over 970 wishes. Working closely with physicians and children’s hospitals throughout the state of Texas, we are able to touch the heart of a child who faces an uncertain future and make memories that will last a lifetime. Wishes can be as simple as a swing set or a visit to grandma’s to a celebrity visit or a trip to Disneyworld. Alliance For Children Alliance For Children, the Tarrant County Children’s Advocacy Center program, began serving abused children in 1992. To date, over 20,000 children have benefited from Alliance for Children’s coordinated approach.

Alliance For Children protects and helps abused children by coordinating the efforts of Child Protective Services, the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office, Cook Children’s Medical Center, and 14 local law enforcement agencies as they investigate allegations of life-threatening physical abuse and child sexual abuse. Alliance For Children provides assessments, case management, and group counseling services to children and protecting parents, all under one roof. www.allianceforchildren.org

Arlington Charities Inc. hopes to reach especially needy families such as single parents with children and lowpaying jobs and victims of job loss. With your donations, Arlington Charities Inc. can provide much-needed assistance, including emergency food; good used clothing, including required clothing for a job; help with other job-related needs, such as Texas ID, licenses, permits, etc.; household items; school supplies and children’s clothing; holiday assistance via Thanksgiving baskets; and a supplemental food program for the elderly.

Arlington Life Shelter Serving Arlington and the surrounding community, the Arlington Life Shelter shepherds homeless men, women, and children toward a lifestyle of self-sufficiency. The Arlington Life Shelter provides temporary shelter and critical services that enable people to become and remain employed.
