This event is presented by the HBA of Greater Columbia and featured nearly 300 home building, remodeling, landscaping and other related exhibits. Quarterly Meeting Recap The membership of the Columbia Remodelers met for a Quarterly Meeting on Monday, February 21 at Seawell’s. Special thanks to our meeting sponsor: Andersen Windows. At this first meeting of the year, Chairman Scott Heron installed the 2011/2012 Executive Committee for the council. We also thanked Johnny Del Priore for his work as Chairman in 2010 and presented him with a plaque recognizing his work. The speaker for the meeting was Moisture Management in Bathroom Construction presented

Darryl showed us how the Schluter System encapsulates wet areas of a bathroom and reduces penetrations and moisture damage problems that can arise with traditional construction methods. Our next Quarterly Meeting is May 31 at Seawell’s at 6:00 p.m. Our topic will be the 2006 IECC Code. The meeting is open to all Columbia Remodelers Members. Non-members may attend for $25/each.
